How to stop sites from opening new tabs?
I want to block websites (preferably selectively, ie. per-website) from opening a new tab on Firefox for iOS.

Earlier tab switcher in Firefox mobile had half screen height which was easily accessible by one hand but now it's on the top of screen which is harder to reach.
At least there should be an option to switch between the two or bring back the old tab switcher and make it go full screen if swiped up and half screen when swiped down.
This one is just killing me reach to the top of screen every time.
I ave a little tab, first one on the left, that won't close. Why? How do I get rid of it?

Firefox for Android used to have a setting that allowed users to control how long after private browsing is inactive, do all open private tabs close automatically. It used to provide options like 4 hours, 8 hours, never. It was present until a few months ago. My private tabs close automatically now in somewhat random fashion - sometimes minutes after navigating to another app. I also have enough Ram for such a problem not to occur. Can I still control this setting or does it have to be a feature request?

I often hit ^T (control-T) in firefox without meaning to, because I use that chord in other applications a lot. In firefox it opens a new tab, which is almost never what I want. I'd like to suppress that keyboard shortcut. I tried doing it using vimium (unmap <c-t>) but that has no effect.
Thank you, Silvio

Concerning the new Android version, it is great. But please, bring back the select all tabs function. I like to save and backup my tabs by sharing them externally, and selecting them one by one is a very slow process.
Appreciate!

I recently refreshed my FF installation. Before I did that I had configured my tab settings to always display the x icon (close tab) in all active tabs. After the refresh, the x icon is gone for all tabs.
I cannot remember what I did to get them to display originally. I've tried to do this in the userchrome.css file. But it didn't work. Let me know if you have a solution.
When opening a new browser bookmark, the original webpage automatically closes, so they cannot be displayed at the same time.

Moreover, after I switched back from Vertical tabs to horizontal these issues cropped up and they are persisting after multiple browser restarts as well.

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

Can someone describe to me how you can open multiple tabs from the Browser starting page? All I see is the top search bar which takes me to Google. But what do I do if I wanna do another search in another tab? Most other browsers simply have a clearly visible button to open another tab but I can‘t find it on Firefox Focus. Online it says there‘s supposed to be a + in the top right corner but it isn‘t there on the picture below and it also doesn‘t appear once I do a search.

In Firefox Android, there's an option to automatically close tabs after one day, one week or one month.
I'd like to set it to 1 or 2 hours.
Is it possible? Maybe through about:config menu?
Thanks.
