Hello Magda, Thanks for the answer to my error message I wrote to you yesterday about a problem with the Thunderbird program. I don't want to repeat everything I've written, but I would really like to get someone who knows Thunderbird to provide an answer to solve my problem; Otherwise, I will delete the app on all of our computers in the company. (We work on 3 Windows computers and 2 Mac devices.) The error occurs on the Windows devices. I ask you not to refer me to any forum again; I didn't have a good experience there. The colleague needs the email program; Unfortunately, you cannot send or receive emails. The installation of Thunderbird has always been flawless, but for about 3 weeks now the window asking you to enter the password has appeared again and again. However, if you enter it correctly, an error message appears.

Ich möchte nicht alles wiederholen, was ich geschrieben habe, aber ich möchte sehr gerne erreichen, dass jemand, der Thunderbird kennt, eine Antwort gibt, damit mein Problem gelöst wird; ansonsten werde ich die App auf allen unseren Rechnern in der Firma löschen. (Wir arbeiten an 3 Windows-Rechnern und an 2 Mac-Geräten.) Der Fehler tritt bei den Windows-Geräten auf. Ich bitte Sie, mich nicht wieder an irgendein Forum zu verweisen; da habe ich keine gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Kollegin und die Kollegen brauchen das E-Mail-Programm; leider können sie keine Mails senden und auch nicht empfangen. Die Installation von Thunderbird war immer einwandfrei, nun erscheint seit ca. 3 Wochen immer wieder das Fenster mit der Aufforderung, das Passwort einzugeben. Wenn man es richtig eingibt, erscheint aber eine Fehlermeldung.

Since the big update I cannot read my messages in the message window without scrolling as I read each line. The message window is so small that I can only see about four lines of text at a time. I can't get the messages to open in a new window unless I click on them and choose "open in new window" even after setting them to open in a new window on their own.

The last update fixed the font on everything from being too big in spite of settings so now I can read a little more at a time. It's still very frustrating having to scroll constantly.

There is an email account profile on my Thunderbird email program and I simply cannot get rid of it. I have tried everything including running the program as an administrator and nothing works. None of the instructions to remove an email account anywhere on this forum works. When I go into the account settings, there absolutely no selection for me to remove a particular email account/profile from Thunderbird. I have removed Thunderbird, wiped out all traces and profiles for Thunderbird, reinstalled Thunderbird and this particular account keeps coming back. I bought a new computer, installed Thunderbird on that, and this particular email account suddenly appears on the new installation on a new computer. I can't get rid of it. I brought both computers to a technician and they scanned for viruses, trojans, etc., etc., etc., and there is nothing there, but this email address account keeps coming back on any computer I have installed Thunderbird, including new computers that are new out of the box. The email account I want to remove is clogged with spam and tying up my internet connection and the ISP (Charter Communications) will not help me by eliminating this particular email account. I have followed multiple instructions I have found on this forum about how to remove an unwanted email account from Thunderbird and not a single one works because the selection to do this does not exist in Thunderbird. All I get is asked for a password for the email address that the ISP says doesn't exist, but it is being flooded with hundreds of thousands of emails that get sent to this email address in my Thunderbird program. Every time I run Thunderbird, it locks into this particular account and downloads emails until my hard drive is full and crashes. Is there a way to get rid of this email account on Thunderbird or do I just remove the whole program from my computer and use something else?

I have had a Thunderbird email program for several years. Recently, when I send an email a copy of it is not saved in the "Sent" folder. My emails are received by reciepents. How do I fix the problem?

Hello there,

Today i found that there is a htm file in my Downloads folder which I haven’t download it. The name is 65k7m58G.htm with zero bytes size. I opened it with notepad and is completely empty. I’ve checked my downloads window in FF (ctrl+j) to see where that file downloaded from but it’s nothing there!

Is there any known bug that generates empty htm file in Downloads folder?

by the way I checked my whole system with Eset smart security and everything sounds good.

The ability to change font size is disabled. I lost my User profile on my PC, and I am starting from scratch with all settings. My custom folders are still there, but I have had to recreate message filter rules, and I can't get the font large enough to read.

Note: When I click on the image I provide below, it makes it look like my font size is huge. It is not.

I have an html signature, I made it several years ago. I have NO IDEA how I did it, and now it needs to be changed. My district is different. Can't change it from within Tbird. Would somebody please let me know where I can find that signature html?

Every time I try to reply to a my question on this forum I am now seeing the following message after I submit it:

I use the latest FireFox on Win10. When looking for a solution the only one I found suggested cleaning out my cache data. I did that but it still fails. This issue started yesterday (or maybe two days ago).

To identify myself I had to scan a qr code on a website using my phone. This used to work in firefox but it doesn't anymore. It still works in edge. I'm using firefox 119.0.1 x64 on windows 11 home 22H2. How can I fix this?

Question about Thunderbird 115.4.1 and Gmail. In the "All Mail" folder... I delete messages - but only to see them still there the next day. I tried empty trash as well as compact folder and expunge - but I clearly am doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and help me?! I also tried both moving to trash folder in different directory as well as "delete immediately" in Account settings.

Numerous users of Thunderbird have expressed their total dissatisfaction with the recent upgrade, especially the new font and layout in the email lists. Why has the Mozilla team ignored requests to return to the previous load to restore the font and list displays? Do you expect users to support your product when they totally do not like the new version?

You somehow have old, outdated information in your system. Your new browser requires me to log into a facebook account I closed 10 years ago. My password for my current account named, "VangiePangie", now opens a closed account named "Evangeline Custis". I no longer have access to my VangiePangie account with any password. So, I no longer want this new upgraded Firefox account. I want to have my old Firefox account as a default on my desktop. Right now it's an icon at the bottom of the screen, and I can only use it to open one thing at a time. Please give me back my old Firefox browser. I'll struggle with Facebook to get my password to work on my VangiePangie account. I have access to the VangiePangie account right now, because it was never logged out in my old Firefox browser and is in my Bookmarks. But if I am forced to log out, or if Facebook does a security check, I won't have access ever again. Please help me with this. Below is my VangiePangie Profile pic.

I am using firefox 120.0 version. I use OneDrive extensively, but now when I open a folder and type my info to search on. It no longer works. I have cleared cache. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. Power off/Power on my system. Confirmed I am using the latest version. The search on OneDrive works in Chrome, but I prefer using Firefox. Any other suggestions I can try?

I want to single space my out going messages. I changed the paragraph setting from body text to paragraph format, this temporarily fixed it but it went back to double spacing

Why won't web pages show in dark mode and are still white. So far the only browser I have seen that will also darken a web page is the standard Samsung browser. Love Firefox on my computer but on a tablet the darkening of web pages from the bright white is crucial. How can this be fixed?
