I signed up and sync'd my data from my laptop before it died, but when I signed in on my desktop none of my bookmarks or passwords are the ones from my laptop account, its all still my desktop's. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and firefox automatically restored all my desktop crap. I really need my laptop's bookmarks, any advice? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I did search the key word Outlook but did not see a helpful reply. I used my extension to clear the cache, did not help. I even call the help desk at work, they suggested Chrome and i was able to log on. I already have to use Chrome for Netflix, i don't want to have to move to another browser. I have Mozilla VPN but it is not on all the time. Please advise. thanks, E

   Select the types of information you want to remove.

Lately I have been experiencing issues/difficulties to access certain websites either an security issue (eg Site needs to verify the security of my internet connection. This verification process times out and of course results in not getting access. Or the following message gets displayed when accessing this site:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to mynikonlife.com.au.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies"

In both the above cases I experience no difficulties, using Microsoft Edge. Is there an solution to this or do I start using MS Edge (which I do not want to)?

My old device has broken and I was wondering if there's any way to transfer the open tabs from it to my new device?

I've signed in to my account already and it ported over my history as well as bookmarks but I don't see a way to port over the open tabs? I'm not sure if they were synced and I can't go back to sync them now as the previous device is broken

The last few days I have been unable to connect to Microcenter (www.microcenter.com) when using FireFox. Get an error Forbidden - ID: db4a0787baff80adb2df6dd9d9881a53, the # changes everytime you try. But the website works fine when I use google chrome and microsoft edge.

Hi, I would like to export all my bookmarks once a day. This needs to happen automatically because it will be part of a bigger idea where I will be working with this file etc.

Is there any way to do this? For example: - do it using API directly in the Firefox Sync service? - do it via command line in Windows?

Any other idea?

Firefox keeps asking me if I want to start it with windows. Again. And Again. AAAAAAND AGAIN.

How can I disable it? Seriously, Mozilla is really doing their best to scare me away... How could they think it's a good Idea to annoy their users over and over again?

After re-installing Firefox, my Bookmarks are gone. I could reinstall them as I go along, but my Folders (used to organize) are also gone. Worse: I cannot seem to figure out how to re-create folders or move those Bookmarks I have. Any suggestions.

Yesterday morning everything was fine. I attempted to check something last night on my Fidelity account, and got the following message: "Sorry, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again." Same this morning. Fidelity could not figure it out, and is sending me to you for assistance.

FYI: I am able to connect to all other accounts I attempted: NY Times, Chase bank, etc. Also, when I tried to log in to Fidelity via Microsoft Edge, I was able to get in. (NOTE: I DO NOT wish to use Edge or any other browser - I prefer Firefox)

I have an odd situation happening and I'm hoping someone can share some insight or knowledge on how to get it resolved.

The short story is that I have a blog for my crochet business, along with an accompanying Pinterest account.

Back in December my blog was hacked for a few weeks. I got it resolved with my hosting provider and it's been working fine since.

However, at the same time I noticed that my Pinterest views dropped to almost zero, after years of very good traffic numbers from that account. When I went in to test my pins that go to my blog, I found that they lead to a spam website.

Out of curiosity, I decided to test the same pins using a private Firefox window. Those worked perfectly, leading to my blog content. I also tested them using the Safari and Chrome browsers, and those also worked perfectly.

So it seems that the only time my pin links go to the spam site is when I'm using a regular Firefox window. I don't know if that explains the enormous drop in views, but I find it just very strange that I only see it happen with the regular Firefox window.

Any insight or help would be appreciated. I did also message Pinterest to see if they had any thoughts on it. Here is one of my boards that has all pins leading to my blog. [https://www.pinterest.com/poshpattern.../posh-patterns-blog/]

Hello – How to recover Google Search results without every result being an image, without blocking every image either.

I want the old style, where an image from Wikipedia was shown when available, and occasionally others. Whatever algorithm(s) were used before the 123 update are what I want, preferably without reverting to Firefox 122.

Every result an image is wasting so much of my time that I've resorted to searching in Opera (which means at least 80% of my internet time).

Cursory examination of Firefox settings offered no relief.

hi, when I am using Firefox to play a media file - both audio and video - an icon is placed in the menu bar - which can be used to navigate the media file. (i.e. stop/play/pause, ff/rw etc.)

is it possible to tweak Firefox so this icon does not appear?

I cannot find a parameter in Settings to turn this feature off.

Hi, My computer died and I can't access it. I tried to sync firefox but it wont let me as I did not have my original password. All of my personal medical links and billing links are bookmarked there. Is there any hope to get it to sync?

My address book icon has disappeared. I send out multi-recipient emails fairly often. I cannot find my lists. How do I retrieve my lists ad get the address book icon back?

I had one email that I linked with a mobile game but I logged off and sold it. But every time I went to google.com and clicked sign in then It pops up the old Google account which I already sold. And I have to select new email and login again. It seemed in every time I went to google I have to re-login again. Its very bother me.
