A virus warning kept appearing on my Firefox browser so I deleted the app and redownloaded it. I lost all my bookmarks and I know you have to have them somewhere please help

Apparently Firefox mobile is different than desktop. On an Android phone I want to import my chromebookmarks into Firefox? I could not find an article on how to do it but yet found other people struggling and asking the same question.

in which file does Firefox Nightly save the bookmarks? And why is it still not possibly after so many years, to export them easily as a file?

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

Hello A little while ago I noticed that my bookmarks from this accound disappeared. I didn't deleted them. In fact I haven't done anything with them for years. But they are precious to me and I would like to ask if you have copy of them or could you bring them back on my account by any chance? (There were lots of them. I use to keep Bookmarks until I specially deleted them. As Bookmarks they stayed. Now when I do automatic search daily delation, the Bookmarks are also removed! I am not an EE but is there some easy way to separate these 2 so I can keep Bookmarks yet delete Search History? Thank you. A Bookmark to me is not permanent or ephemeral but totally under my control like on a book I put back on the self. What is a Bookmarks to Mozilla Firefox?

the story here is I had my OS drive on my desktop completely fail, wouldn't write, wouldn't read, didn't have anything too important just games EXCEPT for the backups to my bookmarks, i got a new drive and installed firefox. when i logged in, my bookmarks weren't there and it synced with my mobile firefox and the bookmarks that i had before my OS drive failed on my phone also disappeared, Im just wondering if firefox mobile has backups of bookmarks and if It does how do I replace these backups on my mobile and if possible use the backups on mobile to fix my bookmarks on my pc.

I cannot get Firefox to sync my bookmarks to to my new android. Other things are syncing so I know sync is working it just will not sync the bookmarks. I have tried everything. I have checked my sync settings a dozen times. I've signed out and signed back in on both devices. I have even uninstalled on both devices while signed out and reinstalled and still I cannot get the bookmarks on my phone. Please help! It's a Galaxy s21 and I am on windows 10

Been two years or more since this was aked it seems.... How to get bookmarks to save and display (and bookmarks bar to show) in Android version (i.e. had there been updates such to make it work)?

Since the latest update I cannot access at least one site P&O cruises nz, the site comes up but is not the correct site. I was getting an error message about Norton security and the url being too long, for that and other sites. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it, but still cannot access the correct site. I no longer get the error message, but the site is incorrect. If I use safari it comes up with the correct site.

I had many tabs open in firefox on my iphone, which were unique and not open in firefox on my laptop. Inhad kept them there for a while because theyvwere important. I happened to tap on 'pick up tab' from my laptop in order to work on something from my phone for the forst time. This looks like a new feature that I didnt notice before. It opened that tab but immediately closed all of those tabs I had kept opened. It also deleted and overwrote all of my iphone history, so that everything exactly matches my laptop. If I go in my iphone's firefox history it does not show those old tabs under recently closed tabs! I can't find those anywhere. Help! Had I known it would do this I would have made sure to save the tabs and history somehow! How can I get my iphone tabs and history back?? Thank you

I am frustrated by the bookmark feature on the mobile app and am coming here to ask if I am missing something. My firefox account is synced across three devices (two desktop, one mobile). I want all of my bookmarks in one place, regardless of what device I save them on.

When I save a bookmark on mobile, it goes to Mobile Bookmarks — which, for me, is not where I want them to go. I then have trouble moving the bookmark. I can select the multi-step DESKTOP path but often the SAVE button does not appear and therefore I can not save it. If I keep closing and reopening, the save button sometimes appears. The attached two images shows: 1). landing spot for saved bookmarks on mobile 2) the lack of the "save" button to successfully move said bookmark.

Also, is it possible to make a mobile shortcut to all of my synced desktop bookmarks? Currently, the path is tedious to access. It involves: Hamburger button => Bookmarks => Desktop Bookmarks => these trio of options: Unsorted Bookmarks (unnecessary), Bookmarks Toolbar (the only one I want), Bookmarks Menu (unnecessary). I would like to go directly to the Bookmarks Toolbar from my mobile homepage. And if possible remove the cluttered/redundant options (re: Unsorted Bookmarks, Bookmarks Menu).

Hi, When any other app in my device uses the browser to open a tab instance within the said app itself, there is no option to add to bookmarks. The only options available are - 1. To move back and forward 2. Reload the page 3. Open in Firefox 4. A toggle for the Desktop site I personally add a lot of such links to my bookmarks for further reading and it would be a huge help if an option of "Add to bookmarks" could be added to the options there. Google Chrome has an implementation of what I'm talking about and you could just look to that for inspiration.

Good afternoon. Recently, bookmarks added via iPad have been added to the "mobile bookmarks" folder. Previously, when adding a bookmark, I clicked on the "Edit" button, chose the path - now the button for applying the new path has disappeared there. When viewing the list of bookmark folders on the ipad, the "mobile bookmarks" folder does not show at all (only when viewed from a computer).

Screen - there is no "apply" button.
