Hi there,

A while ago a new thing started happening with Firefox. Whenever I go to a login page, and the username and password fields are auto populated because Firefox has remembered them, the cursor is positioned at the end of the username. Directly beneath the cursor is what looks like a droplet, blue in colour. Clicking on it does nothing. Clicking anywhere else on the page makes the droplet disappear, as does bringing up another app and then coming back to Firefox. I am using version 93.0 64 bit on Windows 10. I can't do a screen shot of it as bringing up snip and sketch causes it to disappear.

The other day I downloaded SaveFrom.net Helper but then shortly after I deleted it. The program was deleted from the computer except that the green line with the program name shows as an extension on the bar at the top of the Firefox page.

I cannot delete it. If I delete it once it reappears next time I load Firefox. The extension does not show up in add ons and extensions in Tools Firefox.

I have read an earlier reply that suggests delete Firefox and reinstall Firefox and that will get rid of it.

However, I am not anxious to try that as over time I have already extensions ad add ons and other customisation of Firefox, including all my bookmarks and I don't want to lose these and start again.

So here is my question. As the program is deleted and as their extension does not show up in Tools and then adddons, can I assume that the existence of the program name as an extension on one of the title bars at the top of Firefox is just an irritation and that this SaveFrom program cannot in any way add or do anything to my computer?

I can then live with it rather than deleting Firefox and starting again.

I would be so grateful for your help.

after a Thunderbird update from 78.14.0 to 91.2.1, all my UI is now presenting itself with a super extra bold font.

This also happend to Firefox when it jumped to the big 9x.x, can't use it, had to migrate to Waterfox.

This is a major flaw/bug, TB has become impossible to use. The new "Density" item doesn't change anything

Can I modify anything in the deep config menu ?

Mozilla has now become a big disappointing tool.

Dear Thunderbird and Mozilla Help, I've been a regular user of Thunderbird for years now, because of my inability to use my left hand to type and so I use Nuance's Dragon NaturallySpeaking Software to put text on screen with compatible softwares. Thunderbird has been a regular product I use regularly through many versions of Nuance, until this week when suddenly it stopped working. Interestingly enough, it also stopped working on OpenOffice, distributed by Apache Foundation. Nuance tells me that their product will not work with Thunderbird at all, yet I had used it for years now, as well as using OO as I mentioned. I have the latest version of Thunderbird installed I think at least, and was trying to use this version of OO, but they told me that the latest version of OO that they support is 8 versions ago. Could you please work with Nuance to make your Thunderbird compliant with the latest version of Nuance version 15,PDI and continue to do so for future versions? Richard. ... ...-...-.... ... ...

I then have to open a new tab and reboot the page. This even has my computer helper guy baffled. I am a 76 year-old somewhat computer-savvy woman. This is driving me crazy! Hello, I had accidentally opened a shortened url link from my messages in firefox android, but I received a deceptive website warning in a red background page either from google or firefox, before I could read the whole message I panic closed the app, disconnected from the internet, deleted all my firefox data (history,cache,etc,.). I am unsure if my android device is infected in any way, Am I right in saying the harmful page never actually opened because I received a warning before it could? does that mean my device is safe? will running a malwarebytes android scan suffice? or do I need to factory reset my device? Hi, In these last days, I deleted a bookmark folder or something by error. Then I found some daily backups, and I restored from the last one backup.

The next issue was that the following daily backups have less bookmarks, and doing some testing, it appears the Daily backups, now, are not including "Other Bookmarks".

It has less entries from now on.

I want to know if there is a bug, or something changed by itself. How can I fix that?

To developers of reply-handling add-ons:- It would be useful to be able to force "Reply All" sometimes. In my work a whole team need the information from a client not just the person at the "Reply to" address. Clients don't always realize this even when it is spelled out for them in the body of the message. And sometimes I forward these messages to colleagues who should been included who then reply to them ...to me.

It would also be useful to have the option of "Repy All (but not cc's)". (I know this can be done by deleting all the CC'd addresses in the compose window, but still anything which reduces clicks helps.) For example this would work well in a conference setting where an email has been sent to all presenters and organizers (in the "To" address box) as well as all participants (CC'd). Participants could reply to organizers and presenters without having to know exactly which person was best placed to handle their enquiry, and without filling the inboxes of the other participants. Thunderbird had become totally unusable. Every time I opened it, it would download all my messages back to 10/11/21 (beginning with one that was completely blank, no sender etc) even though they had been deleted from the mail account online. I contacted xfinity (my email service) to see if there was some reason the emails weren't being deleted from the server and they said it's not a problem on their end. So I made a back up copy of my Thunderbird profile, uninstalled Thunderbird and downloaded a fresh copy. Now when I try to import the folders and saved emails that I backed up it gives me an error message saying, "A newer version of Thunderbird may have made changes to your profile which are no longer compatible with this older version. Use this profile only with that newer version, or create a new profile for this installation of Thunderbird. Creating a new profile requires setting up your accounts, calendars and add-ons again." My only options are to exit (not open Thunderbird after all) or create a new profile. Clicking on the "more information" link opens a box to choose another application but that goes nowhere. I tried creating a new profile (diff name w/same email) and that didn't help. PLEASE tell me how to import my folders and email so I can use Thunderbird again. Thank you! xoxo

I’m having the same problem another user was having [https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questi.../1095237|Here], but in my iPad (meaning, of course, that about:config is useless.

If I have a page up and I fall asleep reading, or have to stop what I’m doing for a little while, when I come back the page is always at the top. It doesn’t matter if I’m switching to a different app, leaving Firefox open, or purposefully closing it first to try and keep my place. When I open Firefox again it will remember what tab I was on, but shove me to the very top of the page.

It hasn’t always done this. I used to be able to come back within a day or so and still be right in the page where I left off. That’s what makes it so frustrating that it doesn’t seem to be doing that anymore.

I know there’s a chance this is a “feature” and not a “bug,” but even if it is, any help keeping my place in a webpage would be very much appreciated.

I would like to get rid of this new feature; the Drag & Drop Overlay window. I find it unnecessary, and the huge window that appears for dropping the file into is a real distraction. The old way of dropping the file into the message itself or in the attachment window at the top-right were easy to operate and logical. This thing is a nuisance.
