I recently came across a webpage that is made to look like a message from Firefox letting you know you need to update the browser. Where should this be reported? I'm sure this is some malicious download though I have no way of checking.

when i go to my amazon vendor central account i cannot access purchase orders. i get to a blank page that has this code on it:

no idea what that is or why it is happening. then when i go to geminisound.com i keep seeing this in the top part of the website:

I have been using Firefox for many years and never had issues. Two days ago, I turned on my HP with Windows 10 and I got a pop up message something about Error Platform 126.0 XUL Runner is not compatible. I could not access Firefox, Google, or the internet. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, but after that, everything runs very slow. Each time I go into a website, it can take up to over a minute to pull up! I checked all the trouble shooting forums in Mozilla and tried just about everything. I went back into About:profiles and created a new profile. It it did not make any difference. I also did a Firefox refresh. Did not help any. I went back into the profile I had before the XUL error because my bookmarks were there. Still slow. I cleaned out the cache, in both Firefox and my Windows 10. made no difference. I only have two extensions in Firefox. I don't know what else I can do to fix this. Also, my drivers and other software are automatically updated by Windows. My HP is only 2 years old as well. Everything was fine in Firefox until that XUL error message popped up and I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. That is when everything became agonizingly slow!

I'm using Firefox focus on my iPhone.

iOS is the latest version of 15 and 16.

Question 1.

We use it as a content blocker for Safari.

When I open iCloud notes, the characters are not displayed. Only the photo will be displayed. If you remove the content blocker, it will be displayed normally.

The language used is Japanese.

Can I avoid it by setting focus?

Question 2.

I thought I'd check the iOS version.

If you enter iOS 16.7.8 in the search field, you will get a URL error.

I can do it with other browsers, but why can't I do it with focus?

Is there a solution?

Even though I have checked and enabled the option to send crash reports in the settings, it doesn't work. When I look for crash report logs, it shows that I have not sent any crash reports.I've tried many methods to view the crash report, but it just shows that there are none. Trying to recover from a hard drive crash. Had to buy a new desktop with Windows 11 Pro (looking to be a bad move). I downloaded/updated to Firefox 126.0 (maybe also looking to be a bad move).

Have my last "working" userChrome file (it took me weeks to perfect this to my needs).

I am looking for: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

but there is no "AppData" folder. And there is no existing userChrome.css file, anywhere!

Is the functionality I am looking for a thing of the past?

Is Firefox not completely supported by Windows 11?

If so, what is the last version of Firefox that will still support userChrome.css?

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

Once you add a new account, you have to race to open up the settings and turn off the "Download all mails" setting that is hardwired as the default. Even after having done that, I am left with GB of copies of mail messages that I don't want to store on my local system.

How do I get rid of those local copies? Compacting doesn't seem to do it - there's no "Compact now" button in any case. I don't know what "when it will save over N MB in total" means, exactly. Save compared to what? Now 50% off!

Likewise, if I have Message Synchronizing (Keep messages in all folders etc) turned off, but Disk Space - Synchronize all messages locally regardless of age is still selected, is it going to download copies anyway or no?

If it will download anyway, or if it already did download, if I change the Synchronizing setting to "only the last 30 days" will it remove the older local copies? When?

The only "recover disk space" option deletes both local copies and originals on the remote server.

There really should be a "purge local copies" action available in the client. It may be that it is OK to go out to the OS and remove certain files myself, but maybe it won't be in the future. Every note that is about "Simply open a Terminal window..." describes specific files that don't quite match what I see here in May of 2024 on a Mac. But the tool itself knows what can be removed safely.

I have pictures that are slanted. Chrome, and Safari don't do this, so I know it is something with Firefox. Every once and awhile Firefox also has little square dots that appear s’ for ‘Firefox’

I started with Firefox on android, when i finally got a pc i decided to sync my data. This resulted in the loss of all but 1 of my passwords and Ive spent 5+hours trying to get them back. And i idk if i can. But with the help of this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/about-sync/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search) about-sync i can see the logs of them being deleted(where pics are from). Why cant i just revert this or have instances to revert back to?

Greetings: Here is an error message that is now so common that I can no longer send email to any account. Also, I have not been able to send email to any gmail account for last year or two. Please help. Error Message:

"Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <MattMcKeegan_PLS@proton.me>... Relaying denied: You must check for new mail before sending mail.. Please check the message recipient "MattMcKeegan_PLS@proton.me" and try again."

Since starting my Win 10 Pro computer today, Thunderbird 115.4.2 (64-bit) has been "dead in the water". When it's launched, it posts the customary "Downloading Message 1 of [N]" status report, but then hangs right there, takes 3 or 4 minutes even to (re-)populate the tabs and panes that had been open, doesn't get past the alleged first new msg even in 15 or 20 minutes. When it does populate the Inbox pane, it shows no messages newer than last night just before shutdown. Very sluggish response to cursor, too: for ex. 30 seconds from clicking on a msg title in the Inbox pane to displaying that msg, even longer to bring up Help/About (with "Not Responding" shown in its title bar.)

  I get my mail through gmail's IMAP server but prefer to use Tbird's interface . Thinking there might be something evil about the first msg that was waiting to be downloaded, I used gmail's web interface to review everything new since last night, deleted several msgs that had attachments, then started Tbird again.  No change.  Can't even get Tbird into the "Work offline" state because it attempts download-of-new-msgs immediately after being started.
  The only consistently effective way I have found to STOP the hung Tbird is through (Classic) Task Manager's "Processes" list, which usually shows five or six "thunderbird.exe" instances.  After selecting whichever has the largest memory allocation I click on "End Process."
  This all "feels like" a bollixed internal state.  Does Tbird store internal-state information in its own file, or is it buried in the Registry?   If I attempt restoration from a backup, which files are needed; or is that unwise?
 I see there is a mid-April update available to 115.10; would installing it reset current messed-up internal state, or will that already messy situation prevent the update?   Is there any risk of losing my Inbox, Sent, etc contents?

Before the update on April 29 I had no issues with my eBay account on Firefox. Now I am unable to get the pages to work properly. I cannot list any items for sale nor can I change any of my items in my store. Nothing saves and then redirects me to the homepage. eBay is one of my trusted seitz so I have no idea what’s causing this. It’s not eBay because my other accounts work fine on Chrome and on Safari. It happened exactly when the last update happened. And the only way that I can actually get back to the original site is to clear all my cookies and log out and start all over again, only to have the same issues over and over. I don’t know who to contact. I’m losing money in my Business every day because of this so I’m going to have to change my browser unfortunately if I don’t get a solution as soon as possible. I must utilize a radiology based website application that works best in Firefox. I utilize 3 monitors on my system and have Firefox browser working on Monitor #3. Unfortunately Firefox opens the popup windows in Monitor #1. I cannot find a setting anywhere that would force it to open the popups on the monitor that is running the Firefox browser. I do not have this issue with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome just this browser. I only use Firefox for this application because of this. However, I must use it 4-5 hours a day and this is extremely annoying. Is there any way to fix this issue? In today's technology and the fact that most of us use multiple monitors, I would think this browser would be up-to-date in its options and ability to handle this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi when i have to download my bios updates i am being forced to use misrosoft edge or chrome none of which i use , so the question is can i use firefox safely thanks . Lee
