Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Some years ago I had to replace my PC and thought - Wonderful - just use sync to bring back all my tabs etc into the new PC...

The long and the short of it (in the past), was that Firefox decided that the new PC was the one to be synchronising source, and promptly removed all the apps/tabs etc. so sync was in line with the new PC - erasing all the app data. I understand there is no 'Master' sync account.

The question is, how can I stop Firefox initially migrating the Firefox app data in the wrong direction? I know that the app/tab data is currently still correct as my laptop still has all my apps etc. Is there some way to stop Firefox thinking the latest clean browser on the new PC has the correct (None) apps etc? Has the laptop to be logged-in and currently on-line before starting the new PC with Firefox? Is there a process to follow with a new 'un-synced' PC?

Sorry if I'm making things sound difficult, but don't want to loose everything which is currently correct and still these within sync data. It's maybe something that can't happen in these later versions of Firefox, but I want to be sure before logging in my new 'Blank' PC.

I have enabled Firefox Sync between my laptop and my Android. When I go to the manage history tab on my laptop, the history of both my laptop and phone is shown but without the device the tab was viewed on. Is there a way to filter history based on which device I viewed on?

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.

I have Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop computer. As of today, I cannot see my Firefox on my Android smartphone. The problem started when I saw that my computer desktop Firefox would not automatically update. When I tried to update manually, I lost my ability to use my Android Firefox. Firefox on laptop says to seek and save data with food, open Firefox go to menu at shoes sick and save data but there is no option for this. How could I tell if I am synced and how to do it?

I want to sync my new laptop to Firefox on my Android mobile. I am asked to:

1. Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu ( on iOS or on Android) and tap Synchronise and save data 3. Tap Ready to Scan and hold your phone over this code

But this command #3 is simply is not there in the Android FF settings. I see only Synchronise Now/ Device Name / Sign Out, plus Choose What to Synchronise. Nothing else. Any ideas?

Please help. My seamless syncing is not seamless. Laptop has win11, version 114, all the necessary options, but my phone has no in-browser scan accessed through the missing 'sync and save data' option. I remain a loyal (2004) user. Thank you

Hi My firefox on 2 macbooks, Ipad and Iphone are all signed in and sync is on but the passwords etc don't sync. In fact, if I make any new account on one device, despite repeated syncing attempts, the passwords NEVER sync.
