Hi there!

For the last few month my Firefox on Android won't sync with my own sync server anymore. Syncing works on Ubuntu Desktop Firefox. On Android the same URL is configured and worked before.

I tried reinstalling Firefox and installing Firefox Nightly, but I cannot get it to sync: Login in to Account works, but "Last synced" either says "never" or "Jan 1, 1970".

I tried debugging as shown in the mozilla docs (https://wiki.mozilla.org/User_Services/Sync/Debug_Sync)

The logs of the docker container do not provide useful info:

This only happens on mobile. Whenever I leave the Firefox app (without closing) and reopen it, the website reloads and everything I had done beforehand is lost. This makes it impossible to use Firefox along with other apps at the same time. The same issue also occurs when I have to open another app (from Firefox) to upload a file; after selecting an image to upload, I'm back to Firefox, but the website reloads and forgets I was uploading something.

TLDR; websites reload upon leaving Firefox, without closing the application

How do I get my sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, etc., on my laptop to the Android version of Firefox on my new Android phone? I have signed into my Firefox on my laptop and instructed it to "Sync". It says it has synced on my laptop. Now how do I get that information I mentioned above to sync to my phone? I tried taking a picture of the QR code on my laptop but it says I need to pair it with another device, but doesn't say how to do that. I need my bookmarks, passwords, sign ins transferred/copied to the Firefox browser on my new Nokia X100 phone. It just keeps telling me I need to pair my device but no further instructions.

Being a decade user of Firefox I must say that I started to hate it because the last editions hide the choice for enabling or disabling javascript. The stupid comand "about:config" leads nowhere and all previous answers are absurd. Why Mozilla decided to hide the option " turn on / turn off" javascript? It turned a previously great navigator into a stupid user unfriendly useless software. I use the internet for over 40 years and Firefox has always been my favourite. What obscure financial reasons made developers decide to hide the simple option of earlier editions? Please put back the "on/off" option for javascript. Untill then I'll use Chrome.

I am using Mozilla Firefox on Samsung Galaxy A5 phone (Android version 4.4.4) since 2016. I last used Firefox on my phone yesterday. Today, when I wanted to browse internet, I noticed that Mozilla Firefox app has been removed from my phone. When I visited Google Play Store, the app was unavailable in search. Since the app has has vanished from phone, I tried to open the download link on Mozilla.org website in Chrome, it is not working (https://app.adjust.com/2uo1qc?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google.com%2Fstore%2Fapps%2Fdetails%3Fid%3Dorg.mozilla.firefox&campaign=www.mozilla.org&adgroup=mobile-android-page) I am in a fix! So I usually read long books that are only divided in chapters online, so no page numbers, using the reader mode in dark mode to make it nicer to read. The problem is that it does not save where I stopped on the page last time while reading like firefox used to as far as I remember. This makes things annoying as I need to remember and find where I stopped reading. Again, long browser pages with no page numbers to remember. I don't even close the pages on my phone and it happens both when I close the browser or just minimize it. I remember that it used to save it without problems. Is this a bug or just a removed feature? Hopefully someone here can help as I didn't find anything helpful via google. If there are more details neededI will add them on request.
