in my 'podcasts' folder I have ~2 pages of folders of the type feeds.json-xxx.corrupt where xxx is some number, see attached image.

With the intention to re-subscribe to my feeds later, I have deleted all other folders in my podcasts folder. Trying to simply delete the feeds.json-xxx.corrupt folders did not work. How can I get rid of them?

(I am using the portable version of thunderbird)

I have previously (about 1 month ago) connected without issue to my Ionos email account. Today it will not connect. I have updated all the POP3/SMTP settings, read from the Ionos site. I have re-entered the current password too. My Gmail account downloads fine, it is just my Ionos account that will not load. I don't get an error but the last mail showing is in March (2024) and I have had hundreds since then.

When choosing biometrics for 2-factor authentication, sometimes Firefox will only prompt for a physical hardware key, and Touch ID does not work. Support for built-in biometrics is inconsistent.

For reference, I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 with an ARM processor.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I delete an email, it usually goes to the trash, so I can find it again. Now the emails are deleted permanently and disappear. How can I keep my emails in the trash? Sincerely Helle

Routing the Nekobox proxy through AdGuard does not work in Firefox for Android. In Nekobox, it looks like the packet is sent and connected, but in whatsmyipadress, the original IP address is displayed. I put the local host address and port number for Nekobox in http.proxy in about:config and restarted, but the original IP address is still displayed.

I have set up my own domain guytec.org using Namecheap. The alias for email is tguy. I have pointed this new email to my gmail address. I can receive emails into my thunderbird Gmail box from tguy@guytec.org. I want to write emails with sent from tguy@guytec.org showing? How??

When receiving emails they appear as normal but in the background is another email of a couple of pages which has sender and receiver details at the top then lines of letters making no sense for the rest of the message.

My wife and I each have our own Thunderbird accounts. They were created a long time ago, at different times. I’m pretty sure that they were not set up identically. She has recently experienced a problem: the number of new emails downloaded (as shown in the lower left corner of the screen) doesn’t match with the number of new and unread emails listed in the Inbox (the emails shown in boldface). Something else, though I think related: In the upper left corner of the screen, on the same line as the word Inbox, is a small circle with a number inside. I think that number gives the number of unread emails in the Inbox. Her number shows 20 but the actual number (boldface) is 15. Is this a serious problem? Is it a problem at all? If so, how to fix it? Thanks.

I have 4 different email accounts, all managed by IONOS. These have all been set up under thunderbird OK. But when I send an email from 1 of these email accounts I always have to enter my password for that a/c. With all the other accounts, this is not necessary. I do not use Thunderbird or Firefox password managers. I assume that I must have made an error in setting up the outgoing details when setting up that particular account in Thunderbird, but I cannot find a way of checking if that is the case.

When I try to: 1) click and drag an email's attachment to my desktop, I get an "Unspecified Error" dialog box. 2) use the Save button (on the bottom right of the attachment line), the saved file is zero size. These occur if the email is shown in TB or in a separate window.

Workaround: When I click and drag (or save) the EMAIL to my desktop, the resulting file is an '.eml' file, which I able to "open with" TB from Windows Explorer -- this attachment is valid, if I click open or save it.

I am running Windows 7/TB Supernova 115.3.3 (64-bit)

I don't deal with many email attachments, so I am okay with the workaround, but would like find a way to correct this issue.

This question was asked by someone else in November 2023 but never sign answer. When I click on a link to an address Mozilla should open my Google maps and put that address in automatically. Instead it goes to the Play store to download Google but since I already have it installed I click continue and it opens up Google maps but no address. How do I fix this or is this a glitch in Mozilla?

After updating Thunderbird to 115.5.2 I receive an error when I check (get) messages of my gmail account : 'The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and size......'. However, the messages do come in and so the error turns out false. since the authorization (OAUTH2) credentials are accepted.

I have my server settings check messages from startup; every 5min; automatically download new messages. That works fine. Again only when I goto "Get Messages" the error shows up.

What is wrong here and ho do I fix this? Thank you

Hi there, My preview panel is working very badly, it either shows the content of the email or is completely white. What can I do to remedy it? - In some cases the emails appear in very strange codes, thousands of lines like this (iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAPAAAABGCAYAAADyxhn6AAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACx jwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAA) - in other cases, totally blank - in other cases it's everything ok It's working fine, receiving and sending all emails.
