Hello! I've been noticing for several versions of Firefox that the response times reported in the “Network” tab of the developer console are wrong. In Chrome it shows the true value, which are a few ms, while in Firefox they show that it takes several seconds!!!! I attach the images of the problem.

Is it a bug, or a configuration problem itself? Thanks in advance

I'm a long time FF user, the developer edition is my preferred browser. It suddenly started crashing, a complete removal and new install did not help.I posted a help question a couple of weeks ago but no workable solution surfaced unfortunately. I assume the problem is still the same.

ps. I'm currently using the standard FF verison and it runs smooth as ever....

Hi, I would like to remove the hints that appear below the sign-in box for my email account (yahoo). I want to be able to type in my email address each time without being prompted by a hint address (windows 11/firefox browser). Please help me eliminate/delete the addresses that auto-populate the hints email addresses. Thank you.

ps: please note that I do not have an in-depth understanding of computers or computer development language (mostly computer illiterate). I cannot write or change code.

At some point after a Firefox and/or Windows update, Firefox started to stall after working for a while. When I open Firefox, I start surfing using multiple tabs, using bookmarks, typing URLs, or clicking on web links and then suddenly, the little dot in the current tab where I am trying to access another link, starts moving right and left indefinitely, apparently waiting or unable to access the desired page. After that I type well-known URLs (such as google.com) that I know "always" work, and the same thing happens. From then on Firefox cannot access any URL I throw at it (no error messages or warning of any kind) until I close Firefox and reopen. Once I reopen, the cycle repeats: it works for a while until it doesn't. I have cleared all cookies and caches, I have erased or disabled all extensions, but the problems persists. Any advise? I often use Ctrl+Number to jump to a fixed tab, whereas on Linux the shortcut is Alt+Number, which causes some inconveniences. Is it possible to make Firefox use Ctrl+Number to switch tabs on Linux?

I cannot print from Firefox. It worked fine, and then stopped. I'm not sure what changed. It doesn't matter what printer I use. Even printing to PDF fails. No errors appear, and nothing shows up in the printer queue. All the other applications in Windows print just fine. It's just Firefox. And just for this one Windows user.

I tried clearing the saved printer settings in the about:support page. I tried refreshing Firefox. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. I tried uninstalling, removing the mozilla folder in %appdata%, and reinstalling Firefox. No luck.

The only time I can get it to print anything is to log into a different user account on this same PC. Printing from Firefox seems to work then.

It seems there is some user-specific printer setting/file/whatever that is messed up. I'm not sure what else to try.

When you go into 'Manage Bookmarks' and click on 'Import/Backup Bookmarks' is there a way to clear out the list of files listed when you hover over 'Restore ->' which brings up the list of recent bookmark files that you have restored?

I had to restore Windows to its initial settings. I lost all my programs because of this, including Firefox. I reinstalled the browser, logged in to my account (which is synchronized), but instead of recovering all my bookmarks I got nothing. Empty bookmark box. What's worse, they were initially available on the mobile device, but they were also deleted there (both from the browser and from the smartphone). Firefox restored history, add-ons, but not bookmarks. Is there any way to recover these bookmarks?
