Help, logged in, shows my username but won't allow access to anything: Profile, questions, Edit Profile, settings. But I'll bet it will allow me to log out.

Entered incorrect email. Sure wish I could access Edit Profile  : ( I'll see if this page allows me to re-check email to post.

Hi! I have many years of syncing bookmarks, settings and passwords, but 2 months ago, when I installed a new version of Firefox on Windows Pro 10, I can't do that. The instructions on your website do not help me. I go to my account in the browser, sync, but the bookmarks are empty!!!! I want my passwords, bookmarks and settings! Bad browser! AND I can't log in to my account for help support!!! The password does not match. You preset a link to change password, I menu it with both big and small letters, but it does not fit!!! 100 attempts!!!!!!!

I can not get firefox to send me an e-mail to reset my password.

It says it sent one but I never get one.
I have tried yahoo, outlook,and g-mail.
I reset my computer and forgot to save my passwords.
I recovered the three e-mails, but I can't log in to firefox to get my bookmarks back.

I could not remember my sign in information so it asks for my email address. I tried twice for it to send to my email and each time it says it was sent. But nothing is showing up in my email, and I did check the spam folder just in case. At this point I don't know what to do to get into my account, and ask the original question I needed to ask. I am needing to check on how to block pop-ups on Firefox and the original info found says where and how, and my computer shows they are blocked. But, I am getting them anyway from an email that has about six or seven each time you even scroll over that email.

I have Windows 10 and use Firefox as my browser.

Hi there i just reformatted my computer and installed firefox. I signed it but it wants me to verify my email,I clicked on verify email but im not getting the verification email. I added accounts@firefox.com to my contacts and checked my spam folder and nothing. Its not being send at all. I'm hoping someone can help me.

Having (had) problems signing into Firefox did not receive confirmation email. But once I used this support feature and re-registered with new user name, password it brought me to this. I'm assuming that now that I re-registered everything is OK if I receive a confirmation email from you.

I was trying to make a comment on the Firefox addons site when I get stopped for invalid Email address or user name and password. I think it was tied into the time when the "sync" business started. I don't use Sync at all.

I have been trying to get around this for over a year. There's something I try to do and I don't have any email address - password combination that works. So, I clicked the "forgot my password" place and entered my email address.

A few minutes later, I got a reset email that said "Click the button within the next hour to set a new password for your Firefox Account." I could not find any button in the email to click on. I tried clicking on the orange Firefox button on the title bar but that didn't help. I've done this several times over the months.

Can someone tell me what button the reset message is saying to click, and where it is?

A suggestion, Can't the wizards come up with a single entry portal for all things Mozilla or, at least, by application, Firefox, Thunderbird, Sea Monkey, etc,etc? I'll bet that most people are using the same password for all the logons.

This is has remained an ongoing issue from December 2018 that you at Mozilla have failed to resolve.

"The confirmation email we sent to n*******@****.** was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data." I'm pretty sure emails to that account are not bouncing. Could you please unlock my account so that I can access my sync account through THAT email, which actually accepts emails as I've tested many times? (For example, this mozilla account is linked to the same email address, for which I received a confirmation email from Mozilla itself a few minutes ago)

To make matters worse, I could not delete the account to start afresh, because or an incorrect-password response on the dialog form used to submit the change, Therefore I disconnected and now no longer am able to access that account from any browser. When I attempt to create a new account using the same email address, I am prompted with "Account exists", which is understandable.

Attempts to reset password ALWAYS result in an instantaneously displayed (with NO delay or pause) error, "Email was returned", and no email message ever gets sent from Mozilla, in inbox or spam.

I need this corrected immediately. Either resolve this by procedure OR perform and override and delete my account to allow creation of a new account with that SAME email address.

This is the EXACT same scenario that I have attempted, but unlike the user mentioned below, who apparently was successful in receiving the reset email from Mozilla, I never received an email message, and Mozilla claims that the "email was just returned". All transpiring within the last 30 minutes, this exact same behavior has occurred whether I attempt a reset on the iOS device (iPhone Xs) or on the PC from which I have responded to this follow-up inquiry.


Something must be constitutionally wrong here, and I assure you that if any Mozilla email had been successfully delivered to the above ISP account, then spam filters would still have allowed examination of such message for my observation and manipulation.

That's not happening. I have added my account as a primary recipient of this response, as verification.

so now my account is locked and i have no way of accessing the primary email.

I need to acceess a heap of passwords and bookmarks...

thankfully ive logged into my account here so I can ask for help.
