Hello, this morning i opened TB as everyday and i found a bad surprise.

My inbox main folder was empty.

I reached the source file following path and a saw that it was a few kilobytes large. My inbox is the same from 2 years, and i'm sure that inbox file exceeds 2GB.

I have to say that my disk is a little damaged, and sometimes TB opened slowly.

How can i recovery my lost db?

I'm trying some recovery software but no one have found this lost file.

What TB has done? It deleted the big file and recreate a new one? But if this is the answer, were did original inbox file go?

I can't access my online account from Firefox. I get the following message:

Our online banking system is currently unavailable. Please try again later. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

I can't watch YouTube videos because it says I'm using ad blockers (I disabled the ad blockers in Firefox that I didn't know had been activated, but it still won't let me watch anything but my channel.)

I can access my online account from Safari with no problems or messages.

Question about Thunderbird 115.4.1 and Gmail. In the "All Mail" folder... I delete messages - but only to see them still there the next day. I tried empty trash as well as compact folder and expunge - but I clearly am doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and help me?! I also tried both moving to trash folder in different directory as well as "delete immediately" in Account settings.

This has happened several times in the past but after 2 or 3 days it suddenly will start working again!!! It's been over a week this time and no resolution yet! Note following LARGE ROTATING X is: "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." Same note as in the past but eventually disappears and video works just fine. The video is a live shot of the Abbey Studio's Crosswalk (ie, the one shown on the cover of a Beetles Album years ago).

Don't like the look of the new Thunderbird. Just too much of everything. It's just for sending and receiving emails. Now it is messing up, which it never did before after 10 or more years. Emails that I have moved to folders keep coming back to my inbox when I reopen the program. So before I get told that the settings in my pop account are wrong and I need to change this or that, like I've seen other people told. NO.....! It worked fine until some meat head wrote new code for this new 115.whatever version, and thought that a new fancy task bar was more important then getting mail. And this goof ball needs to fix it................Thank You Very Much, Craig P.S. Yes I give $ to Mozilla.

I live out in the country now. I have the only internet provider who comes out here - Frontier.com. They do not give an email address to new customers. So I do NOT have an email ending with @frontier.com to set up the connection to my new internet provider via Thunderbird. I've tried every possible configuration to try to get Thunderbird to connect without an actual @frontier.com email address. Frontier wanted me to use an already present att email with them. But obviously Thunderbird knows I don't have an att account!! So how the heck do I get Thunderbird to connect to my internet without an @frontier.com email!!!!???? I have manually configured the settings over and over with different emails trying to get it to connect without any luck. I have spent days on this. I have talked to Frontier many times and been hung up on when I get to the obvious question of how can I connect to the internet in my email program without an @frontier.com email. I am afraid that I will have to try some other program to be able to get my emails..... but I don't want to!!

What a nuisance that was but now I have NOTHING! Neither e-mail address and I have lost my address book. How in the world does this happen out of the blue?
