I am using Thunderbird 115.5.0 and have been suffering double line spacing since I upgraded to this version. I can fix it on a on a per session basis, but when the programme is closed, it defaults to double space again. May I ask when this bug is going to be addressed please? Thanks John.

For the last few weeks emails in my inbox disappear after 2 weeks. Just from sues@getwell.org.uk and not from my other address sue.saunders@myphone.coop This is happening on all devices where I view emails - laptop, tablet, iphone and even when I go to the webmail on 123-reg where my getwell.org.uk domain is registered. I have talked with 123-reg and they can't work it out - said it must be something to do with Mozilla. Can you help please - there's info in those emails I need!! Many thaks Sue

I deleted some emails on the weekend by mistake so I went into trash to retrieve them but couldn't find them. I checked again this morning and they are still not there. Please help Thank you, Basma Brown

I turn off threading in my inbox. It turns itself back on.

There is a plentiful supply of discussion here about the inept enforced threading which happened on an update. There is a lot of info on turning it off with view ->sort-> etc etc.

But it turns itself back on.

Threading is ghastly, I don't ever want to see it, but accepting that someone somewhere likes it, at least make sure that when it is turned off it stays off.

Running 115.5.0 and want to export my contact list to be able to use it in a spreadsheet. The export function in the Tools dropdown only allows for export of "accounts, messages, address books and settings to a ZIP file." What happened to the ability to export just the address book separately to a csv file? Please help. Thank you.

spent a long time typing a complex mail, and due to the way the new version (115.5.0) does things, the outgoing address had a . on the end of it that wasn't visible, because it was obscured by a note that the send address wasn't in the address book, For years, I've had used BCC to get a copy back into my inbox, but now, with this latest version, if the send fails, it also doesn't forward the copy, so a mail that took over an hour to create is now lost due to the failure of the system, before now, a fail due to invalid address returned the item, so at least the body of the mail wasn't lost.

NOT impressed, this means I now have to change my system in order to not lose items by using the BCC option, it meant I knew that the server had processed the mail, now, I've no way to be sure it has truly been sent.

I just got malwarebytes vpn for cyber monday and now thunderbird isn't working unless its turned off.

I've already added TB to bypass the VPN, I've added the ports 587, 993, 465 to bypass the VPN as well - and nothing works until I turn the VPN off.

Its not just fetching emails when I try to check for updates it'll just never complete the task and just spin forever

am I missing something else?

I have a cannon mf455-dw that is suppose to open the email client when you scan to email and attach the file. When it goes to open Thunderbird it fails. Is this common and is there are work around for this?

I was working in Firefox, everything was working fine and all of a sudden, by tabs began to crash. I only had 2 tabs open. I opened Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and still, the tabs crashed. I opened More Troubleshooting Information and tried to Refresh Firefox, but it appeared nothing happened.

I have been unable to send or receive emails for the past week when I try to send a message I get this message come up .... .. Sending message failed.... The message could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server SMTP smtp.gmail.com timed out try again..... I dont know why this has happened and I cannot fix it???

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

I get this error very often

I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.
