Does Firefox save a backup copy of things like address book and archives? It so, where and what are the file names? How do I prevent future updates from removing important data? HELP!

The question in the subject field was posted 7 years ago. I am still having this problem in version 104.0.1 (2022) on Mac. First I updated youtube tab with cmd+shift+R still same problem. Then I deleted cache with cmd+shift+backspace still same problem. I had to delete all my history in FIrefox before video was playing. Am I doing something wrong or need something being fixed :-)

Every day while opening the browsing I am getting the below-mentioned error, tried many things like complete reinstallations, and selected default profiles, but nothing worked.

I realized that when i use Quicsearch field for searching in message BODY, it works wrong. When i put to search field value 1084783026 it finds some messages, but when i delete one number (either from begin or end) , it does not find anything, even not than previous records . My version of Thunderbird is 102.0.3(64-bit). It will not update. i keep getting a message that it is not able to download the update and need to download a new version for the update. Can any one help me. Thanks

Been using TB for ages - love it - however it has recently stopped receiving emails - what is the cure? Reinstall? New update?

About your message below regarding 'Email me when someone answers the thread' - if the problem is that I am NOT receiving emails? Send a text?

I don't know what's going on but I can't login to my bank I have to use chrome. Truist.com And I've used nothing but Firefox for 10yr.. Latest FF for Android on LG phone, desktop is down.. Help..

今回のトラブルは、ver:102.2.2 (64bits)にバージョンアップした時点 でログイン出来なくなり、パスワードの変更を求められました。

現在の状態は、次の通り順番に内容を連絡いたします。 1.プロバイダがYahoo!JAPANからパスワード変更しました。(XXX図) 2.その後にログインした処、ログインに失敗しましたとの表示(CCC& 　DDD図)されました。 3.そこで、メールアドレスのセットアップ(BBB図)しました。 4.次に当ソフトからツール＞設定＞プライバシーとセキュリティ＞パスワード＞ 　保存されているパスワードを開いたら、何と送信メールのプロバイダが欠如 　していました。(AAA図） 以上が現状です。9/10頃から発生していますので、早急に対処手順を当GMAIL に回答返信お願いします。

I can't get Firefox to store bookmarks on my Mac since I installed Monterey 12.0.1. I managed to find some instructions on your trouble shooting page but they do NOT work. Hate to give you guys up, but unless y'all can help me fix this, I'll be moving on.

I just installed TB 102. I have multiple cardDAV accounts set up in Thunderbird, they synchronised fine as far as I can tell. But when I type anything in the field "search all address books", nothing happens. Even if I press enter. The entire list of contacts remains displayed, I can scroll it, as if I never typed anything in the search field...

Any view what I could be doing wrong? I have only two add-ons: Dark Reader and Addon Compatibility Check.
