I could not leave a web site advertising Free IQ Test. It would not allow Firefox to close. I shut down and restart my system, and Firefox opened at that web site. I finally removed and reinstalled Firefox. It would still open at that web site and not allow closing. I removed and put another browser, Midori, on my computer, so that I can use the internet. I want Firefox back.

How do I remove focus from a flash element with the keyboard? If I click on and interact with a flash element on a page, then that flash element has focus. Then, if I want to use Firefox keyboard shortcuts, they don't work until I click somewhere one the page outside the borders of the flash element. Is there some keyboard shortcut to remove the focus from the flash element?

Unable to open messages in Hotmail, it works OK with Google Chrome... A real pain in my white cheeks... the response to this issue ia also very poor !!!

Firefox is a great web browser, the best i believe. BUT is attached to gnome in linux (or i am wrong?) and it can't be on any operative system that's not based on gnome 'cause it gets slow. Is there a firefox version without those libraries?? If not, it would be awesome if firefox 4 would be independent of gnome (to make it faster)

when going on search engine to download i still get a box comeing on to screen saying the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could be easily read by a third party or the imformation you have entered is to be sent over part of an unencrypted connection and could be read by a third party.

When I click on a link that opens a new firefox window, the new window shows a navigation toolbar that does not include the back, forward, stop, and home buttons (it only shows the internet address box). However, the original firefox window that I navigated away from shows all of the navigation buttons AND the address bar. How do I get these new firefox windows to show the navigation buttons in addition to the address box that automatically appears?

When I have only one page open why do I need a tab telling me I have that page open? How can I go back to the previous version which didn't have this annoying problem?

When I connect to the site of my bank (http://www.dexia-bil.lu/webquotes/index1.asp?h=1&lang=en&menu=onl&href=htm/acces_client_lu.asp?lang=en) and click on it shows the page (https://secure.dexia-bil.lu/ssl/logon.asp?lang=en) instead of

(https://secure.dexia-bil.lu/ssl/logon_flash.asp?lang=en). If I go to the last page directly it is displayed correctly. Flash player is installed and works fine. 

Strange enough I have not this problem with the Epiphany webbrowser.

I am using ubuntu 10.04 64bits, Firefox 3.63 with Shockwave flash 10.1 r53

When I go to print something, a dialog showing a list of printer options shows up. One of the printers is from an old office. Firefox spends 20s or so trying to query this printer over the network, and hangs in the meantime. I would like to remove this printer from the list, but have been unable to figure out how to do so. Manually removing all references to the printer from the ~/.mozilla configuration files while firefox isn't running has not helped.

i was trying to learn how to develop extensions for firefox from one of the blogs of mozilla.. in that he asked me to create a profile and i was following whatever he said... meanwhile this happened.. i could not sign-in into any site.. gmail or hotmail or yahooo etc...... only basic html links are working fine.... and whenever i check out the "Downloads"-- Ctrl+Y or Add-ons ,the firefox quits.... i could not download any file...

have been trying to export my bookmarks from firefox. am running a new installation of kubuntu 10.04.. I can import any and all I've tried. I'm using firefox synch, but the only bookmarks I can import from firefox are the defaults... nothing I've imported is available to import to my other browser, Konqueror.
