My home page is on my private PC and I have no need for https on my private system. Fire fox repeatedly redirects to https which does not exist. How can I get your program to work again. I used to be able to retype http:// and I could see my page but now your program is BROKEN!!!!

My Page is private http://www.work.com/ at work and http://www.home.com/ at home. Which is ip address 128.0.0.1. All public internet and intranet pages are https://

What is wrong with your program I need to be able to view pages on port 80. Is there a setting some where that can fix this ?

I wanted to bump this as I never received a satisfactory answer for the reason behavior was changed and it is still something that feels like a UX regression.

I was working on my computer earlier today. Open FF and it asked to download an new update. I chose yes. A little later I closed out of FF and shortly after that got back into FF and the update installed. Now, windows for any application open and close slowly, almost like they are fading in when opening and fading out when closing.

Additionally, my taskbar, which is set to auto hide, very slowly un-hides and very slowly hides. All this was working fine before the install of FF 97.0.2 (32-bit) and became an issue immediately after the install (i.e., opening FF after downloading and closing FF).

Does anyone have any ideas on what the reason for this issue is? Did some setting get changed? Thanks.

Hi, The attached image explains the problem in 3 steps. 1. I try to add a bookmark, a pop-up window appears. OK. 2. I get a menu with some recent bookmark folders, but I want a different one, so I press "Choose folder". OK. 3. Now I need to browse among numerous folders in my bookmarks, it worked fine before, but I cannot do it anymore because the folder names are not visible! As if they are written with a white font on a white background. I can scroll, choose (blindly) some folder, which is marked by the faint rectangle visible on the image. And the bookmark will be saved to that folder indeed. But scrolling blindly through my hundred folders is obviously not practical.

The problem appeared 1-2 weeks ago, probably after a FF update. Now I updated FF to the latest version 97.0.1, it doesn't help.

A couple of months ago I did some changes in FF config in particular to make bookmarks appear more dense: newer FF versions introduced huge vertical space between bookmarks. I can't remember what exactly I did (followed some recipe on internet), but it didn't introduce any problems. The problems appeared 1-2 weeks ago. System: Windows 10.

I changed my email address in firefox settings a while ago, had no problems since. But recently wanted to use firefox portable. What happens is, i log in with my (new) email, I get sent an authentication code to the new email, i type it in, then it tries to login with my old email and obviously fails (Incorrect password)

I've also tried using a linux laptop, and i can't login with it either, but it works fine on android and windows. If i try it too many times my account locks, don't know what to do
