I opened firefox, it was an upgrade to version 33.1 and all the bookmarks and saved passwords have gone. Now if I restart it is going to upgrade to version 33.1.1. This is the first upgrade in a few years that has lost the bookmarks and saved passwords. Windows 8.1.

Rather than seeing just the small rounded light gray button around the "+" sign for a new tab, there is now a larger, dark grey rectangle (larger than the new button itself) over the "+" sign. When I hover, the rounded part of the button appears, but the larger gray box remains.

It's almost like I'd like to write a short {display: none !important}, but I'm new to Firebug, and can't figure out how to get the name of that part of the screen.

I have a screen shot which I'd like to add to this post, but having difficulty adding it in.

Tools/options/advanced/network tab. how many is a good idea? (i have just type in 1000 MB, but before that i only had 350, and my pages were always expiring, which was frustrating)

This web page opens by itself in a new tab and starts talking. http://malwarewarning.net/ It is an obvious scam. I have tried deleting cookies. Is their any way to get rid of this? It is very annoying.

Steps to reproduce: Open a new tab Using the search bar (for Google) within the page on the new tab, enter a search query and press enter Quickly switch to a different tab The search results will load on the different tab rather than the tab where the search was started from

1. Firefox will no longer allow me to set a homepage. 2. Firefox will no longer allow me to stay logged into my various accounts. 3. Firefox puts up many, many advertising pages and will not allow me to browse the pages that I want to see. 4. Firefox opens game pages without my having initiated them. I do not play games at all. 5. If I cannot resolve these issues, I will switch to another browser. It is much too frustrating to deal with.

Getting rid of this damned snap.do is driving me up a wall. Sure hope someone can help. I've run Regedit and eliminated one instance of snap.do. I've deleted the snap.do or snapdo cookies from Firefox many times but the cookies keep coming back.

My patience is about to explode. Sure hope there is help out there in the community. Many thanks.

when trying to post a link to facebook, the popup tab appears and hides the post button below the taskbar on Win 8.1. Tried moving box but it resizes bigger. Tried resize but again it never allows the bottom of the box to be visible.

Current version. Intermittent problem always either this issue or works fine from initiating ff.

Several tabs are open. Simple left right movement of mouse suddenly replaces current page with previous and then the next previous.

I wonder if it is malware but have performed a full malware scan, no issues.

The mouse is a Logitech Expert wireless mouse.

i tried every update and run in safe mode and reset firefox setting

When I am on Facebook using Firefox, whenever I click on "like" "comment" "more" it takes me back to the top of the page. It only happens on Firefox, works fine with Google. This started before the last update. I had changed to Google, but went back to Firefox to see if the issues were resolved and they are not. Please help, would like to stay with Firefox.

Everytime I open Firefox (33.1), a JPG file from photodeck.com attempts, but fails, to download. I have updated Firefox, I have run both Malwarebytes and AVG full computer scans and not detected any viruses or malware. I do not have photodeck.com software on my computer, nor do I have the photodeck extensions for Firefox installed. I am running Windows 7.

With the release of 33.1 and a few releases back Firefox is not keeping any of the personalization like download folder, home page, etc. This is getting beyond annoying and frustrating and not being able to find the solution within Mozilla is getting annoying as well. I love Firefox but am to the point of not sure I will continue to use it because of this constant issue with new incremental releases that seem to have this issue.

i have been having this issue since i updated to version 33.1. Each time i restart my system and load Firefox browser, i find out that some extension are missing e.g. adblock, x-notifier.

How do I resolve this please?
