Prior to Firefox 29, using status 4 evar, I was able to mouse over a link, and I could see where that link would point. This allowed decide whether I should avoid clicking on the link. Unfortunately, this no longer seems to be working in the new Firefox. I have downloaded the Classic Theme Restorer, and it doesn't seem to be helping.

Any ideas?

I now have a grey menu line at the top and I had chosen to have an orange one I can't find out how to get it back. Also there used to be a Firefox button on the extreme top left of the menu bar and in this I could choose to print preview before I printed off a page - sometimes the orientation needed to be adjusted - and I can't find this. This button used to also allow me to send a link to the page by email - where is this? I really hate it when useful features like this are just taken away just because somebody thinks that it will be more "modern". I also play some Facebook games and there can be a delay in these. My husband keeps telling me to change over to Chrome as this works faster on his PC which is right next to mine. I have resisted so far but I must admit that this latest "update" has left me wondering if I should stay with Firefox!!!!

On some sites and some pages - question pages of this forum for example - I have a chaos of icons in url string - black and white icons that obscure sting, and search field after.

Please reinstate the feature such that a url can be bookmarked multiple times. This current change creates a narrow thinking, was completely unnecessary, and will drive me away from your product. I profoundly regret clicking on your upgrade button...

As above. There used to be a place I could click at the top of the page to search for individual items within the page. That function appears to be gone!

I have multiple files I need to use all the time and I am stymied!

About an hour ago I did myself a huge disfavor and accidentally reset firefox, losing all my extensions, open tabs, and web history. However, I found my "old firefox data" and copied the information I needed onto my new profile (using the guide found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Recovering%20important%20data%20from%20an%20old%20profile#w_copying-files-between-profile-folders). But now I don't know how to "save" my profile. Restarting firefox seems to do nothing, and I'm too scared to do anything else (lest I mess up AGAIN). Can anyone help me with this? Am I doing it incorrectly?

EDIT: fixed the problem! If anyone is dumb like me and had the same issue, what I did was create an entirely new profile and copy all the files from the old profile into the new, and then restart firefox. Apparently I was just copying the file onto the same default profile, so it would just revert back after I closed the window. ._.

The scroll bar is now missing when I click on the bookmarks icon instead there is just an arrow down. I have a lot of bookmarks and now it takes forever to get to the bottom where my most recent are. Please add back the scroll bar option.

I've cleared my cache, cookies, and history. What exactly is included in each of the catagories? What is included in the data file? Would that include bookmarks or downloaded files? Could it be backups flooding my phone? What is using up so much space? Thanks

I started the download of an application and cancelled the download, or so I thought. When I now start Firefox, the download starts again. Do I have to reinstall to eliminate this and shouuld I be saving anything before I do?

I understand accounts setup before 2010 has to reset password, but it is difficult if you can't receive the link to get the reset done. Please can we get this taken care of. I have made numerous request for the link, at least 6 in the last couple of weeks!

I just auto-updated to FF 29, and I really dislike the interface. It took me a while to figure out what happened to my refresh button, and I STILL cannot find a way to restore the text labels to my shortcuts. Is this even possible?
