The config setting (browser.tabs.onTop set to false in about:config) is not working in Firefox 29 -- Please have the Developer Team fix this.

By not correcting this, the "new" Firefox has eliminated useful features, notably, the ability to place the tab bar at the bottom of the Header Area.

I used to have a menu bar at the top of Firefox, where I could pull down my Bookmarks menu. That has disappeared. Asking 'where are my bookmarks?' leads to useless answers like 'how to bookmark a page.' One suggestion was to click on the menu symbol (you have to guess that it's the 3 bars top right) and click on View menu bars, or something like that; problem is, there is no such option in that menu. Who is responsible for screwing up what used to be a very user-friendly browser? I may have to go back to Explorer, not a happy prospect. Firefox, are you paying attention?

I have tried clearing the cache and everyrhing else that that has been suggested. I have used Firefox for over 10 years, but I am sufficiently disgusted that I am considering switching to something else (other than IE of course, maybe Opera)

Yes, the bar is not needed, but I prefer some things to be at the bottom. However the No-Sqint button is nowhere to be found for the top bar. I downloaded the Add-on bar, but only occasionally does No-Squint show up in it.

Neither is the Bookmarks Sidebar button to be found. (Yes, it's a dropdown of the Bookmarks button - but why click twice when it used to be only once?)

The Help button is nowhere to be found.

Someone screwed up my browser!

What is the correct procedure to print a partial Web page (par of the page selectioned wiht mouse) If is do a selection (highlighted in blue), and if I try to print on my default printer, the option "selection" in the print menu is not available ! printer is : HP LJ2015dn PLC6 windows 7 professional up to date. Thanks.

Since a recent automatic update, I have not been able to print by clicking the firefox icon on the tab. I have pages that I need to print, that do not load with the complete toolbar with the menu button etc. I could always print by clicking the icon, but no more. Help please.

Since the update last week my bookmarks sidebar will not stay on. I can't believe how inconvenient this is. it's driving me crazy. I can open it with ctrl+b but it only stays there for about 10 seconds, then it's gone...please help. I simply want it to stay there all the time.

So I cant seem to print just the 1st of 5 pages. The default setting , 1 of 5, will print all 5 pages. The 2nd field can not be altered, as it could in previous FF versions, to 1 of 1. Therefore, I can only print all 5 pages, 2 through 5, 3 through 5, etc. WTF - I keep wasting print paper. I got the print edit add-on but that doesn't seem to help. I have been through several FF versions and do not like the format of 29.

When I open an email earlier, it would pop up in front of Foxfire. Now it is behind Foxfire. I have to minimize Foxfire to read the email. This was now how it was working. I don't know how it was changed. And I want to reset it back. I don't know how to fix this. Please!

I'm not interested in disabling the toolbar, just hiding it. I occasionally need the real estate on my screen (especially for coursera courses) The previous version I was using allowed a quick and simple hide for toolbars. If its here in V29, I can't find it.

The desktop shortcut no longer works, it won't launch from my Start menu, from my Quick Launch, or from the program file itself. Since I already have a browser window open I'm able to open a new window from the browser menu & by opening a new tab & 'moving' it to a new window ... but if I ever close all browser windows (like for a restart) I'll be screwed.

Firefox is my primary browser so it would be great if this could be fixed.

Since a few version, Firefox distributes the search box (crtl-f) over the whole screen.

The text fox is on the far left while the 'match case' and 'highlight all' settings are on the far right. To me, this seems very inconvenient and I wonder what the thought behind this is?

Is there a way to move the part of the text-search interface back together?

I have tried to uninstall Scorpion Saver from programs and it will not let me. It says it is a web resource. I have eliminated it as an add on. Any help as to how to uninstall?
