I have two computers which names starts with "UNIT" and followed by some numbers that differs. If I want to send tab from mobile to one of them I cannot determine which is which because device name is cut after 4 characters. See attached screenshot. Thanks

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. My company uses Oracle Fusion as its ERP solution, and I frequently have to download files from Oracle BI Publisher. Prior to V123 of Firefox, which installed this morning, I could click on the file/report in Oracle Fusion, and the file/report would get moved to my Downloads folder. After the update to V123, nothing happens after I click on the file. I had a co-worker replicate the problem after his Firefox updated to V123. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there is a resolution.

Update 123.0 deleted all my firefox data from logins.json. backup files are corrupted or have no data. No support article suggestions have worked. The .json files indicate that there is data, but appears blank in notepad, and wont load in json reader in firefox

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

I've been trying to reply to moderator "Phil" who requested information regarding Firefox crashing while on Youtube. When I press "Post reply" all I get is an error message:

It's important "Phil" gets my message as others may be affected my possible Youtube shenanigans. If possible, can you forward this message to "Phil": Unfortunately there are only two reports generated during the problems with Youtube:

The problem caused my system to stop responding forcing me to power cycle to clear my PC, so no reports could be generated. Hopefully these two will show what the problem is. In the meantime, can you check the reply system to make certain it's working properly?

When I'm viewing a PDF from within Firefox and try to print the page, it shows a smaller version between 1/2-3/4 of the size of the paper. I have "fit to page selected" and this doesn't change it. I try a larger than 100% scale and this doesn't change it either.

However when I download the pdf and pull it up using Acrobat it allows me to print full page, fit to page, scale, etc no problem.

Initially I thought it was my printer, but I removed and reinstalled the drivers for the printer and I don't have this issue with any other program except for printing from Firefox. It's almost like the Firefox browser has too small of a page default set so that it's fitting to a page, but the page is smaller than 8.5x11 printer paper.

How do I fix this?

Hello, I use Firefox as my only browser and I use the shortcuts because they're really helpful. But every time that I lunch Firefox all the pages in the shortcuts "call" their websites, I see it from pihole and all the requests are made every first lunch of Firefox. Probably it's something related to the cache and to give better perfomances in case I wanna select one of those shortcuts, but I don't want that all of them make a "call" to their respective websites. I think it's something related to privacy and freedom about what I want to do with mt browser. Is there an option to block those connections? In case there isn't an option is possible to implement it? Thank you so much

Since about two days ago firefox on both my PC and laptop has been trying to connect to a random website called ponf.linkedin.com that I have no idea where it came out of.

I have no clue why this was but I reset both browsers on both devices + reinstalled windows 11 on my main PC and it only continues happening on my PC now, i've managed to replicate the behaviour by resetting the browser and everytime that happens firefox attempts to connect to this website even though bitdefender blocks it and nothing comes up, no popup or anything as if its just in the shadows.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be and what I should do? any help is appreciated thanks.

For the last several months, I have been unable to get audio input from any device working on Firefox. The mic inputs work in all other apps and browsers, are appropriately permissioned on Windows 11, and appear in the Firefox permission windows. No actual audio is received by the website.

I have installed Firefox clean, rebooted countless times, tried the Beta and Dev channel releases, and disabled all extensions, to no avail. I have ensured that I am on the latest releases, have tried various devices, run virus scans. I have included images of the Windows sound settings showing working Mic levels, Firefox showing the device in permissions, etc.

My sound drivers are up to date, and mics work in all other browsers and apps. This is limited exclusively to Firefox.

I've experienced a problem with Firefox on the Metacritic-Website. As you can see on the attached picture on the left, it's not possible to set a filter for "release date". There's no problem when I use Chrome (see picture on the right). The problem still persists when I start Firefox in safe-mode, so it's not related to an extension. I could replicate the problem on another system as well. Firefox on iOS has no problem setting the filter however. Do you know what the problem could be?

Starting with the most recent update, 123.0, when I ctrl-click a link in Twitter or Blue Sky, the link opens in a new tab, but Firefox does NOT jump to the tab automatically. In any other site, the browser performs as expected. My options are set correctly, and all the relevant about:config settings are set to False. Using Windows 10, 22h2.

The following html inscription animates when clicked (the duck in the image quacks), but for some reason, the animation doesn't activate on http://ord.io with the firefox browser. I wanted to bring this to your attention because It works on http://ord.io with every other browser.

I am visually impaired and I need the Fonts to be Bold. I have changed the font and size but I can hardly read them they are so light. Especially on the Book mark page.
