Just today a web based TV show has stopped playing, the circle spins for a moment (as if it was loading) the circle then just vanishes and nothing plays.

I am running Win 11, I have successfully had the video play in Edge and Brave.

Firefox however is being stubborn and refuses to play

search jumps to address bar. I NEED THIS TO STOP IT !!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A GREAT THING for ‘Firefox'. Give us a click button to turn this unwanted or unneeded automatic feature. Please don't offer workaround goto edit deep function programing 'work with me' options, just turn it OFF.

When I click the Firefox icon to start, it is minimized at the top of the creen, I clcik the enlarge button and it just moves it across the screen. I have to click it again to make it full size

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"

Lost an open session in Firefox - folder sessionstore-backups doesn't contain anything. Not even the upgrade recovery. Lost or is there still something else I can do? Thank you

I logged into my new laptop and because I forgot my password I used the forgot password option, but now when I login I dont have my previour saved profile and it seems to be a fresh profile.

All my bookmars and saved passwords are missing.

I have always used the same email address for login.

Firefox used to open the bookmarks to the left showing all the bookmarks, ever since that last update not the go right and aren't even the bookmarks I want, how do I change it back

I reset my windows 10 installation thinking that it would be similar to a "backup and restore", but it wasnt. I wiped out nearly everything I had installed.

I hope that can learn how to load bookmarks from saved favorites folder.

Any help?

I have tried preventing Firefox from autostarting with Windows start up by examining these potential program starting locations:

Why do I have TWO Firefox icons shown on my desktop screen? If I click on #1 it says: "Created Tuesday, February 20, 2018" If I click on #2 it says: "Created Tuesday, December 05, 2023" Do I need both? or can I delete one of them? Thanks.

Since updating to 121.0.1, only the top edge of the tabs in my menu bar are visible (see image). I tried reinstalling, restarting, and switching to a different theme. Any thoughts on why this is or how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create a management policy for extensions where all themes are allowed, some extensions are force installed, other specified ones are allowed, and anything else is blocked. I have been scouring the web looking for samples and I just can't get it to work as intended. Here is a sample of what I have written.

In this current state, I am allowed to install themes, I get the forced installs, but I can install ANY extension. I don't want that.

If I modify the blocking section with [ "installation_mode": "blocked", ], then I only get the force installed plugins and I can't do anything else. It even removes any previously installed themes or plugins not explicitly forced in. The allowed plugins can't be installed either.

I have also tried it without the "extensions" allowed_type but the result did not change. To recap, I need to block any extensions not explicitly pushed or allowed. Would anyone be able to assist and point out what I may be missing please?

I just upgrade my firefox, but it did not import my history, cookies, bookmarks or passwords. I found a backup of the bookmarks (in a bookmarkbackups folder) but how do I restore the everything else?

When I want to go to the NY Times, and i type "nyt" the address bar automatically populated with the rest of the URL "nytimes.com". When I do the same thing with gmail and "gmail" it runs a search on a search engine instead of completing the rest of the URL.

Why would it do this for one website and not another? How do I fix this, I use gmail all the time so its a bit of a time waster.
