Hello, i am using ducducgo as search engine on my firefox. i have noticed that it does not support since yesterday. site from saved shortcuts only supports, other than anything i am trying to surf it shows error connection was not secure / reset. where same site are opening with google and bing search engine in firefox and same problem were facing in mobile browser also. hullom snce several days I canot login to my nextcloud anymore, not with any of my different user names. Nextcloud will show a login screen, I can enter my credentials, Firefox will try to connect and after a while present me a fresh empty login screen. On one of my other macs (same OS) Firefox does login ok. After deleting Firefox app and reinstalling Firefox again, the behaviour does not change. Also deleting the stored login names and passwords does not help, deleting a bunch off cookies neither. What else could I do?
New update today, and some time afterwards tabs began crashing.

I searched Firefox for Merryfield Veternary services in Hamden Ct. The site gave a wrong telephone number and incorrect E-mail address and Hours of operation. Tried to get Merryfield to correct this error but they said it was on yelp and they could not correct it. My concern was that my pet almost died because I was calling the number listed which was not correct leaving messages on that number and not getting any return call. After re-starting my iMac the wrong characters appear for non-letter characters such as punctuation, which you can see in the screenshot from the pocket recommendations on the home page, where the issue doesn't appear too bad, but in practice trying to use any site with form inputs asking for email addresses etc. is impossible.
This has happened in the past and I have somehow been able to fix it, but this time nothing I've done helps. (It's only ever Firefox that is affected.)
I have deleted the app and re-installed it. I have cleared cache and cookies. I have cleared all browser history etc. I have tried changing fonts from the defaults. I'm not sure there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take.
I'm using FF developer edition, current version (just re-installed it, but it is always up-to-date, and this has been happening for a year or two). MacOS 12.6.3.
I'm a long-time FF user and until now I've lived with this inconvenience as I've somehow fixed it after troubleshooting steps, but this time I can't stumble upon the solution.

I have certain extensions that temporarily block my access to certain sites, including to my add-ons so I can't use it to disable the add-on. However, when I open firefox, I can easily access the "add-ons and themes" selection from the toolbar before the blocker takes effect, allowing me to access the add-ons page and disable the add-on before it blocks the site. Is there so way to hide or make it take longer to access this open? (Such as removing it from the tool bar)?

Starting today, for some reason when I access my bookmarks, I have to start from the very top of all my lists of bookmarks. In the past when I accessed a bookmark, and then a clicked on the bookmark tab to access ANOTHER bookmark, my bookmark list would show where I had left off from the previous bookmark within that list. Now when I access a another bookmark after I had accessed a previous bookmark, my bookmark list starts from the very top of it instead of where I was previously within that bookmark list. Being I have many bookmarks, it is a real pain to have to constantly scroll down from the top of my bookmark list every time to access another bookmark. This peculiar situation just started today. In the past this would NOT happen when I accessed my bookmarks. Can someone please explain and help me? Thank you.

Not sure what topic this falls under but...Sometime in the last couple weeks, Firefox doesn't want to connect to Facebook or You Tube. Just these 2 sites. All the other bookmarks and quick links on my home page work fine. If I clear my data and cookies and re-start FF it sometimes connects, sometimes doesn't, and sometimes opens FB in what looks like a safe mode screen (https?). Vexing me as to what the issue is. Updated FF, Windows, re-installed FF, refreshed it, and finally came here looking for a way to restore the default settings for FF. Since FB and YT are Alphabet companies, have they done something that's messing with FF?
