But in Firefox the audio only goes thru the internal speaker no matter which audio output device I select. Is there some setting I need to fix so that Firefox will speak to bluetooth devices?

When I go to the site I get the message "Byte Size of the object is zero", and that's all, just a white screen with that message. I'm using Firefox 108.0.1 (64-bit). I have a dozen old embedded device modules (circa 2003) which can host a web page. When I access the device through my local intranet (192.168.0.xxx), the web page displays correctly. However, when the same page is accessed through my DNS service (xxx.gotdns.org:xxxx) over the web, the Firefox INSPECT:network tool indicates that the document is type:text and displays the HTML in a text format. The first line of the HTML document is :<!DOCTYPE html>.....
These devices are non-secure information-only devices, but at least Firefox allows for HTTP: exceptions.
However, I cannot understand why Firefox treats the same content differently depending on the path. Is there a way to force Firefox to actually look at the contents of the packet and treat it accordingly?

i have set my home page to blank. Recently i noticed, that when i start firefox and visit a site, my arrow history (i don't know what it's actually called; the linear browsing history you navigate using those arrows) has the blank page as first entry. I don't want that first entry. How can i get rid of it? (And why is it called "chrome://browser/content/blanktab.html"?) When i open a site in a new tab, i don't have that blank page entry in the arrow history. So it seems like it must be possible to get rid of it.
Same problem with private browsing. The first page is always "about:privatebrowsing".
I'm using Firefox version 108.0 on Linux Mint.
It's only a small annoyance, but i really appreciate being less annoyed.

I run a Windows laptop, version 8.1. Two days ago the monthly system rollup occurred followed by Firefox browser updates. The user comment section of the Foxnews website disappeared completely. I can still login and out but nothing appears for any article comments. I see the comments are still there when I open a Chrome browser on my Android phone so I know Fox didn't discontinue user commenting. I have looked at add-ons, ad blockers, etc but no success reactivating this feature.
Anyone else having this problem? If so, is there a known cause/solution? Thanks

First time ever. Tested other browsers, sound works fine. Changed no settings when it suddenly went silent. Refreshed. Uninstalled/reinstalled. Nada/nothing. So to not feel as if I've lost my hearing, I won't be using Firefox until there's a fix on their end, already tried everything suggested in troubleshooting and refreshed. since a few days I have a strange cursor, possibly related to the latest version. The problem only occurs in Firefox.
No matter where I click, in search histories, settings or on websites, the cursor that appears when you want to write something appears everywhere. So the flashing line, I just can't write anything.
How can I deactivate it? I have already asked in other forums, but no one has an answer.

Firefox is suggesting usernames on multiple websites that I access regularly. However, I have the saved logins feature turned off in Firefox.
When I access Settings > Privacy & Security > Logins and Passwords - it shows all of these options turned off.
When I access Settings > Privacy & Security > Logins and Passwords > Saved Logins... - it indicates No Logins Found / No Synced Logins found.
I do have Firefox Sync turned on to sync between devices, but since it indicates "No Synced Logins" it doesn't appear this is coming from another device. I have checked multiple devices and found they all show "No Synced Logins"
Only happening in Firefox. I am not getting these suggested logins in Edge or Chrome.

I recently installed new pc with fresh Firefox Developer Edition. Then I transfered the profile folder from old pc to the new pc. All bookmarks, addons, etc is there. Just the XULRunner popup appears only on the new pc. I uninstalled firefox on the new pc again and reinstalled it with profile cleaning. After profile cleaning firefox got faster and addons got removed. But the XULRunner popup keeps appearing. When I go to taskscheduler and trigger the "Firefox Developer Edition Background Update CA9422711AE1A81C" again, the XULRunner popup appears. Removing this taskscheduler and Firefox keeps readding it and the XULRunner popup are back. Any idea how I can get rid of the XULRunner popup?

I updated my browser to the newest version and attempted to watch tv on Xfinity but got an error then tried Netflix but got another message that my browser is no longer supported and to update it which I already did. The error codes are in the screenshots provided. I'm not able to watch anything now and I'm Pissed. Both websites work on Microsoft Edge and I've sent in two bug reports for it.
