Hello,

I have activated Firefox Sync and "delete cookies on close" and I have noticed that the URLs I have set up exceptions for do not sync across my devices, thus having to re-enter them on every device.

Is this by design or can I do something about it?

Thanks for any help

All of a sudden, Yahoo email is not signing on Firefox on Windows 11. It is working on other browsers on the same computer, and even on Firefox on the Mac computer that is running the Windows 11. I tried all possible solutions but to no avail.

1) Cleared all cached data and cookies 2) Refreshed FF 3) Completely uninstalled FF and deleted the profile folder and reinstalled a fresh copy 4) Disabled all add-ons and extensions. 5) Private window

I am stuck at " Uh-oh... We can’t sign you in right now. Please try again in a while" every time I try to sign in. I get (https://login.yahoo.com/account/challenge/fail) instead of (https://login.yahoo.com/account/challenge/password).

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Hello,

since a few days I have a strange cursor, possibly related to the latest version. The problem only occurs in Firefox.

No matter where I click, in search histories, settings or on websites, the cursor that appears when you want to write something appears everywhere. So the flashing line, I just can't write anything.

How can I deactivate it? I have already asked in other forums, but no one has an answer.

I'm attaching a few screenshots below.

Hi everyone

I can no longer drag a bookmark to a folder and insert it where I need to in the folder, which previously was very useful.

Now when I drag a bookmark and try to insert it where I need to it defaults to inserting it as the first / top bookmark in the folder. Which means I have to drag it a second time to its desired position.

Please could anyone advise about how to get the functionality back.

Thanks in advance !

With previous versions of Firefox (before 108.0.1) I was able to make changes with about:config to allow a default domain id .com to be added to my Internet query. Example I enter cnn and would get cnn.com and assess the website. WIth 108.0.1 I enter cnn and Firefox cannot find the site. The about:config changes I made are:

set browser.urlbar.autofill to false, set keyword.enabled to false and set browser.fixup.alternate.enabled to true.

The changes are mentioned in the incident https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1142103.

With 108.0.1 how can this be implemented like in the past versions? Thanks

Hello,

we use firefox in our company and the requirement appeared to turn on the security setting "Delete cookies and sitedata when closing Firefox" due to our security guidelines.

I´ve already checked the "Enterprise Policy Generator" Plugin, but there is no such option. Is there a possibilty to check this option and block it for the user by the about:config page?

Thanks in advance, J.Stempel

Greetings

When I enter the first few digits of "amazon" the first suggestion is always "amazon.com". That would be nice were it not for the fact that, as a European, I don't have that much use for prices in dollars and imperial measurements. I have bookmarked "amazon.de" but due to alphabetical order .com always comes first. Naturally, I have tried to purge "amazon.com" from my bookmarks but I have been unable to find anything that I could delete. Thus, I am wondering whether anyone might know how this issue might be tackled and I would be much obliged if anyone could help.

Best Regards Felix

When I bookmark something, I often apply tags. I have noticed that when I use a very long tag, combined with many tags, it prevents tags being used. For example, the word "internationalization" prevents tags being stored.

A bookmark that is tagged like this: one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen internationalization will not have its tags saved.

However, this is stored successfully: one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen internationalization

This also stores successfully: 'one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen'

Defrag, Cache Clear a& all similar utilities run on scheduled basis prior to upgrade and everything A-OK.
