I'm not anywhere close to understanding how to change anything (not technology-suave) so need BIG help on getting rid of ad popups when I'm on email account!

I love Firefox and until lately (before I had to replace my old STOLEN laptop with a new one) and using Yahoo... I have been plagued with hundreds of popup ads! Don't like GOOGLE... think they may be BIG BROTHER!

I recently switched from Brave to FF. An annoying problem is that whenever I click web links in external programs such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook etc Firefox always opens it in a new window instead of a new tab like Brave did. Also the window it opens does not have my extensions enabled, indicating that it is some form of incognito or web view window or something? These are my settings.

How can I solve this issue?

Is there a way that I can recover my New Tab page setup (just the new tab page) from a Macrium Reflect backup of my OS disk? I recently did some cleanup that cratered my FireFox profile (developer and beta also). I would like to somehow recover just the New Tab page setup from the os backup. Any solution? Windows 7 ultimate with latest Firefox version: Started having problems with being unable to save or edit bookmark in firefox. When I attempt to obtain info through mozilla solutions, firefox closes.

So i've found this thread but it's not the solution I'm trying to restore text written as YT comment ( but YT deleted it ) Found it in a cache but it's a "secure document" and "expired immidiately" Is it possible to recover it ?

Suddenly today my browser had switched any current tab to the bottom of my window, but it also only lets me see one at a time..which means I can't see multiple tabs open unless I close the current one. My tab bar is gone entirely and was up-top as it's always been, just under the URL box.

I didn't hit any key combos that I know of that would cause this, and I can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem when I search for a solution. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?? It's very odd and annoying, I've never had it happen before now..

Trying to load .mil webpages (specific case in image) present an MNP error. For context; VPN on, connected to US server Same site tested in edge with VPN works. If anymore information is needed I can provide, thank you and happy holidays!
