Dear Firefoxers,

Over the last year or so, I've had to switch to Chrome to load some pages properly. reCAPTCHA is proving to be a particular problem - which I'm told is powered by Google? I could be blocking Google content too much within my Firefox browser?

My wife is a long-term Chrome fan and says, "I don't know why you bother with Firefox, Chrome is much better", but I rebuke and say, "No! It's been great over the years, I've been using it since 2003".

Do I need to change my settings somewhere? At times certain pages don't load - it'll say 'Click Verify; or something similar and the 'Verify' button doesn't appear - I load the same page in Chrome, and boom, it's all there.

Am I doing something wrong with Firefox? I have version 100.0.2 (64-bit). Or is it time to give in to the mighty Google and go to Chrome after loyally using Firefox/Mozilla since 2003? (A daft thing to ask on a Firefox forum, I know!).

When opening History the column headers are there but no dates are shown in the Added and Last Modified columns. These columns are selected in Views and the listed web pages appear to be correctly sorted into Added date order. My browser is up to date an is 100.0.2 64 bit. Thanks

I am an employer and use Indeed website to hire staff. I can log into my Indeed web account and can access all webpages except the Jobs webpage, the most fundamental part of this exercise.

I contacted Indeed and phone rep said to use Google Chrome which worked easily.

I am a dedicated Firefox user and do not want to use Google Chrome. Please fix this access problem which forces an employer to use Chrome to hire his workers.

Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

I don't want to see or think about ads, i don't want to know what getpocket is. I don't want chefs plate and their columbiahouse 2.0 bullshit product. It is absolute trash.

I do not want to see these things. Ever. Again.

If there is no way to remove these things from my browser its time to go back to chrome.

I recommend you take a look at Via Browser. That is a very powerful browser, even though it is light in size.

Take a look at the many features it has and implement some of those features in Firefox.

I have a lot of websites bookmarked on my Android, a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 128GB. Well, "bookmarked" is the wrong word. I have saved them on the homepage so that I can get to them quickly. Trouble is, every single one of them is just labeled "Firefox".

For example, I have a folder named "Gen'l Reference" with 11 items. (See attached image.) Some of them open apps and are properly labeled with the name of the app, e.g., "UnicodePad", "Translate", and "DuckDuckGo". But others link to websites, mostly with specific functions, such as Snopes.com, timeanddate.com, and emojipedia.org. All of these just show the Firefox icon and are labeled simply "Firefox". The only way I can get to the one I want is to remember where it is in the layout. How can I give them appropriate labels, with or without their own icons?

My system disk failed, so I had to restore it from pretty old backup, with old Firefox version installed and old profile data. Now I want to start Firefox and reopen all my recent tabs from Firefox Sync, but not from my local (old) profile. How should I proceed?

Per an article on yahoo news, I decided to clear data by going to: Settings->Privacy & Security->Cookies&Site Date->clear data

In hindsight, this turned out to be a mistake. Previously when using yahoo mail, it let me stay logged in for two weeks. Now I have to log in each time. There are also 2 or 3 other sites that logged me in automatically, but now have to log in every time.

How can I undo what I did?
