In Manage Data, I can see which cookies are used by which sites. If I want to sign in to a specific site automatically while still generally deleting cookies when I turn off Firefox, then I need to list all the cookies used by that site in Manage Permissions as Allow. This is easy regarding sites that use cookies all with pme common domain, since you just enter the one domain name. Today I wanted to preserve cookies from a major newspaper, but I find at least five domain names in the cookies that I have to protect in order to enable auto sign-in for that one site. My suggestion is that there be some improved method for easily 'transfering' (rather than writing down and re-keying) selected cookie domains from Manage Data to Manage Permissions, instead of having to rekey them and make errors doing that. If I want to auto sign-in to 15 sites, but keep the controls set for deleting unprotected cookies when closing Firefox, I would have to enter perhaps 75 domains by hand. An alternative might be a column in Manage Cookies whereby I could check mark a cookie, thereby transfering it to show in Manage Permissions, perhaps as defaulting to Allow for Session. Then I could review them and if desired switch each to Allow.

presented by the home page.

In vain I answer that I accept or refuse, it works on a few selection clicks then the banner reappears!

It's very very annoying

So I switch to Chrome and I don't have this pb so I conclude that it comes from Firefox!

I am retired from IT with 50 years in the business and I do not understand this bug.

Could you delete this permanent alert, especially since it has only appeared for a very few years.

Of course I could do without Firefox and use Chrome as my default browser, but I prefer Mozilla to Google.

Thank you in advance for your answer and remove this headband that breaks our feet.

It would be really nice if there was a standard for websites to follow in terms of setting cookie preferences, that way these settings can be set at browser level and be automatically accepted based on those settings, instead of having to have popups *all the time*.

Any thoughts around this?

Before latest version of firefox for Android I used cookie auto delete add-on to clean up cookies and local storage once I leave a site, allowing some choosen trusted sites to keep their data.

Latest version removed all of this and the only way to cleanup is to erase cookies or local storage for all sites.

How can I get previous behaviour, since Mozilla decided to remove all but 9 add-ons, among them none allows to manipulate cookies.

Hi,

Having upgraded to the latest version of Firefox on my Android 8.0 phone, I find it's not:

- offering saved logins for use - offering to save logins I have changed

Is this known issue? Is there something else I need to do?

On a related matter, editing must now be done via Lockwise, but this is not syncing with Firefox it seems.

Again, do I need to check our enable syncing (I have always had sync enabled)?

Thanks!

Hello! I'm trying to figure out how to export the site data of a specific website from my browser so I can import it on another domain or a different browser profile.

I have some quite important data that an application stored locally in my browser, but now the website went down. I want to copy the existing data to my own instance of the application running on another domain so I can continue where I left off.

This seems like it would be a very basic task to be able to backup and migrate your own data like you can with any native application. But as far as I can tell the developer tools offer no such option and all the add-ons that were able to do this stopped working or vanished.

Any help would be appreciated.

My corporate intranet site uses cookies. It used to work on Firefox with no troubles. A year + ago, it stopped working. It still works fine with IE and Edge.

I found the issue is the cookie. When I check it on the login page, the cookie is there and I can access the values inside of it. After i redirect to the next page, the cookie is no longer there. I am reading it using request.cookie("CookieName")("CookieVariable").

Can someone give me advice what can be causing this?

Thanks.
