Hello, How is it possible to run different instances of Firefox on Windows and on Android? I would like to have for the same user e.g., Firefox_1 with one set of open tabs and Firefox_2 with a different set of open tabs. Is this possible, and if so, how to do it on Windows and how on Android? Or, is there another way of selecting in Firefox between two (or more) windows with different sets of open tabs? I use Fire fox on my ipda to read books (web published manga and light novels) ever since the release of latest version (that has the "New screen") it looses the page I am up to and often revers to a random previous page. for the past 4 year plus I have had numerous (30+) tabs opened to web sites on the current page I am up to in given web sites. this worked almost flawlessly until you change the home screen. The Version I have installed A.T.M. is 113.1(30885) The "New screen" I am referring to has the titles Firebox Browser,Jump Back In, and Recently Saved. If this Screen shows up after moving away from Firefox for a random time (some time short some times long) instead of showing what the tab had on it. if it shows the new screen and I pull down to refresh the screen I may get the web site I had before but it will not be the latest page I was on. I have taken to book marking the latest page I am on since Firefox has become so unreliable. I am also only running 10 tabs because as I loose the sites that I have been reading for years I have been book marking them and closing. I am at the point where I will be moving away from firefox on the iOS devices as Safari, Chrome, and iCab Mobile are more reliable and do not loose my tabs current web page. attached is an example of a page I was reading yesterday and returned to it day, I book marked it. note the chapter numbers. please note the version number of iOS and Firefox have changed a number of times since I notices this fault/bug my device it set to autoupdate.

I desperately need that tab to be recovered or the ability for me to undo the closing and erasing of all my tabs and history for me so I can continue with my application and essay that I was very close to finishing. thank you, I would appreciate it so much if there can be a way for me to retrieve that data.

As the subject suggests, I’m trying to figure out how I can recover about 180 tabs I lost while the inactive tabs setting was enabled. I don’t remember Firefox crashing - I just noticed a few days ago that all my inactive tabs were gone and have since been trying to find a way to recover them, with no success.

Which is why I’m here. Is there a way to access Firefox’s iOS files? From my research, I’m thinking it’s possible info on tabs might still be stored somewhere in those files.

Why does Firefox automatically save tabs? It is annoying to have to delete them every day... I want the option to NEVER save the tab and close them all when exiting

I have not been able to get my Firefox iOS app and desktop to sync. On both my desktop and phone logins are selected for syncing but each device has its own list of logins which they wont share with each other. I can sync tabs and send tabs from desktop to my phone and the same the other way around. The only thing that doesn't seem to sync is passwords/ logins.

I have uninstalled the app on my phone I have logged out and back in I have cleared connected devices on my account and relogged in

None of the above have worked in getting my device to sync.

When I do a fresh install I only get back the logins that I've manually entered onto my phone. It seems to have it's own list separate form the desktop and neither device is sharing login sync.

Any help would be appreciated, I have 300+ logins on my desktop version and have only manually moved over a small handful to my phone because manually doing so is a pain and they won't sync if I update one on the phone or computer to the other device.

I'm on iOS 109 and desktop version is 109.0 (64-bit). I have been trying for weeks on and off to resolve this issue.

I'd love to have a feature where I can choose to open all my synced tabs on a new device at once instead of having it as a list under synced, as it would look on the original device I have them opened on. Maybe have that option to open all tabs under synced.

I've done a bit of searching and I'm surprised nobody else seems to be discussing this issue.

It appears to be related to the fact that, if I haven't visited a tab in more than a few minutes, when I reopen that tab, Firefox reloads the page. I completely understand why this is done, and I still think it's a poor choice. Half the time it takes me away from the actual page or content I was looking at, and starts me over from the entry point (think infinite scroll type pages). There's a refresh button for a reason. Do less, Firefox.

But the problem I'm having is that this auto-refresh feature is broken. About 10% of the time, it just shows me the tab home page. It doesn't even reload the site. The address is not in the address bar. The refresh button is grayed out. Sometimes, if I wait long enough (30-45 real, actual seconds - feels like a very long time), the page will load. Sometimes. Most of the time I have to go into my history and re-open the tab that way. Sometimes it will go from the home page to a blank white screen, as if it's about to load the page, and then stalls there - again, nothing in the address bar, refresh button is grayed out. Depending on how far it got in this process, I may be able to swipe down to initiate a refresh, and if that works the page will usually load from there.

Is there a setting where I can disable this auto-refresh feature? Can I extend how long it keeps the cached page? Can I make it so that when I re-open the tab, I'm reliably back where I was? I thought that was the purpose of tabs?

When I go to use Firefox on my Android LG G7 Verizon I always been able to share from the cell phone to my home PC say a tab that I want to read later lately I noticed that my laptop is showing up my PC is showing up but also my PC is showing up twice I have a screenshot I don't know if I can uploaded. The first pink circle (Damon)is my home PC. I don't know why there's 2? that's my question the other one is my laptop Pegasus I recently had a bsod and was unable to recover from it had to reinstall maybe that's why but I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Thank you for your time in advance I hope it's not too confusing cuz I am confused right now! I use Firefox on all three of my devices laptop PC and Android and sync all three of them together certain settings

How can I open a blank new tab in Firefox Focus browser on Android. The only option now seems to be to press and hold a link in the existing webpage and to select Open link in private tab? Thank you

I had about 250 open tabs and they just disappeared and I can’t retrieve them. By any chance is there any way that you have a record of what I’ve searched. I never saved them in my history and was bookmarking them slowly until last night when they just disappeared. And this is the second time it’s actually happened

Is there any way that Firefox can send me my search history so I can find the missing tabs. And why does it happen

Tab reordering is important to many users. About two years ago, Chrome added this feature, but Firefox removed it. Just recently I found that TAB re-arranging works again in the Night build on Android. When approximately we can when expect this feature in the Release?

I recently updated the Firefox app on my iPhone through the App Store. When I re-opened the app all my previous (many) tabs were closed. There’s no option to restore the session and while I still have history of “closed tabs” it doesn’t actually show the tabs the were closed as a result of the update, just the tabs I had closed before the update occurred. Since I’ve had some tabs open for a long time and I open and close tabs very often looking through my entire history isn’t a very viable solution. Is there some other way to restore my previous session like there is in browser?

I have Firefox Focus and I have enjoyed it except for one blaring issue. Without closing it, it sometimes completely restarts and closes every tab. I lose SO much when it happens. Is there ANYTHING that I can do in this instance to retrieve my tabs?

I rested my phone and reinstalled firefox logged in and tried to get my tabs back since i had sync previously activated but now i can't find how to get my 60 tabs back. Nothing is in the History to find.

So recently i always encountered this annoying bug or something that doesnt exist before, its when i click the tab button sometimes or often the tab shown will go straight to the first tab created, and it is annoying if you have like 20-30 tabs open because your gonna scroll down for like couple seconds just to see the latest Tab or current tab your are in which the browser should do the first place when i click the Tab Button and not go straight to the most top and the first tab created. Can this be fix?
