I cannot figure out how to get Firefox to browse to my local website IMPI server maintenance website on my LAN which uses http protocol. I've tried Firefox troubleshoot mode and also setting the https redirect off - which has zero effect. Any ideas would be welcome because I'm locked out of my server IMPI now.

Is it by design Speech Synth is installed in the background on Android 8? I don't have it listed in my logs that I installed, unrequested install. Also Firefox 116.0.3 now calls for Speech Synth to be installed. Is this normal?

I have Avast premium security on my Android Motorola G6. Every time I open Firefox this malicious website tries to open! I deleted my history and it still comes back. Also when I'm not using the Firefox browser it still tries to open! Once I open the browser sometimes there are as many as seven or more attempts by this page to open! How can I override the default to connect to a website in HTTPS-mode and enforce a HTTP connection for specific websites, like the configuration server on modems/routers?

Where is the Firefox-for-Desktop option in the padlock menu for the Android version, when it says "Connection is not secure", to turn off "HTTPS-Only Mode" temporarily or permanently for that site?

All I have available, is the in this case pointless "Retry" button and the useless info "This connection has timed out". But nothing at all to force a HTTP-Only connection.

The solution can't be, that every time I need to connect to a website that does not support transport encryption, to have to dive deep into FF's settings and globally disable "HTTPS-Only Mode", and once I am done, go back and enable it again.

So, what is the pragmatic solution on mobile Firefox to add and manage such exceptions?

Yesterday the option to make Firefox my main browser turned on on my Android phone. It won't let me turn it on. I have Google on my phone, but I never updated it, I updated myself yesterday, I can't turn it off. I also have a MI browser that is disabled. When Fitefox is not my main browser, I cannot add web shortcuts to the start screen, and I use it all the time and miss it a lot. What should I do to restore the option to make Firefox my main browser? I used to have Google but now I don't know what's going on? Help me please!!!

If I install Firefox 124.0, will I have an opportunity to change the default tab order setting to "Tab Order" instead of "Recently Opened" before the browser messes up the order of my 100s of open tabs?

I'm trying to disable my history from grouping related terms together, but there isn't an option under the Tabs setting for the version I have. I cannot update Firefox through Google Play so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version (10.0.1). Is there a fix for this?

I'm following the instructions to set Firefox nightly as my default browser, but when I go to settings and try to switch the toggle to "set as default browser" instead of doing it, it just opens a new tab with the instruction. I got up to 4 identical tabs before I gave up. I know how to do it, it's just malfunctioning.

In a separate issue, I have had Firefox Beta for about a year on my Kindle Fire, always worked great. Since the latest update, it won't even open. The screen pops up for a second, then immediately closes. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. I installed regular Firefox, no issue. Then I found nightly, installed with no issue (other than the problem listed above).

...Desktop site option setting does not stick! After switching tabs for 5 mins, it changes back to mobile site view & I HAVE TO X out of tab, reopen it, & check desktop site again! You can't just reset the desktop site option on & off either, doesn't work. You MUST X out the tab & start all over. ...It's a real pia! In older versions it always worked, always defaulted even days later! However, NOT in the last few versions, why can't it still currently work now? It should! ...And god for bid you find any real support! And probably won't get it here either. ...."IS" there ANY real, live support around here? A developer email? Anything??? I always use and have set the opening screen to the “last tab” option, but since version 115.1 was released, when closing and reopening FF (or after it refreshes itself) it reopens on the very first tab.

If I close that tab, it opens on the new first tab, same thing if I rearrange them.

If it’s useful, I have the “inactive tabs” option disabled, and have like, 150~200 tabs open atm.

I am sure the option to open pixiv links in native app had been there. Now it is gone. Does someone know why it is like this or how to make it work again?

P.S.: The option still exists for youtube for example

Please allow force-enabling of the "Open in App" button on all domains.

The cause of my asking this is that YouTube no longer has this option. Presumably because they explicitly disallowed this. I want my end-user control over this back. To note, reddit still has this option.

So my request is to add a toggle to force this button to appear on all domains, if at all possible.

I must disable popup asking to open link in another app l. I must stay in firefox, without this annoying popup appearing everytime on AliExpress. Even though I choose to never open links in outside apps, it keeps asking. Hell this is so annoying. The proposed solution does not fix it, the only way for me to get rid of the annoying message is to uninstall AliExpress, which I don't want to do, because I have two accounts and must use both for personal purpose. Please enable a way to diable at all this pop up without going to the app, as Must stay in firefox. Sincerely yours, J.M.

I am having an issue sending a tab to another device from the Actions menu on IOS. I used to be able to click the Firefox icon and it would give me the options to: Open, Load, Bookmark, add to reading and send to Device. When I select "Send to Device" it says "You don't have any other devices connected to this account available to sync.

It is worth noting that if i am in firefox i CAN send tabs and all the available devices show up. This issue is ONLY from the action button which I use quite a bit to send stuff to my desktop to read later.

There used to be an optio open in app option under 3 dot menu right hand corner but after updating to latest version it has gone.

I need that option badly. Please help getting that back I don't want to clear data or uninstall as it will completely ruin many settings logins layout ETC it will be chaos for me

There needs to be an option to close all open tabs when the mobile browser app is closed. It's nonsensical to have tabs reopen when app is restarted. Memory on a phone is precious and shouldn't be consumed in this manner.

When choosing to open the Last Tab as your starting tab, it just opens the first tab of all the tabs you have open. Seems that setting it to Homepage does the same thing. I deleted Firefox and and reinstalled; still no change.
