I've already looked through the FAQ and various solutions online and have not been able to find a solution that works. My issue is that while Firefox sync is signed in (and working) on 2 computers, as well as my iPhone and iPad, I have lost the password to the account and am not able to recover it from any of these devices. It seems the password saved in my "Passwords" is incorrect, and that seems to be the only place it was saved. I didn't write the password down anywhere, setup a recovery key, secondary email or two setup authentication.

I DO have access to the primary email account, but don't see any way to use that to recover the password either. As I am already signed in to sync, I AM able to add new devices using the QR code, but that doesn't seem to work for new computers (like the laptop I just bought). I have already extracted the saved passwords and bookmarks, and transferred them to a new account (the account I am signed in with right now).

However, I would rather use my original account instead of having two, nearly identical ones. I would also rather not fully reset my account as there might be something else I forgot to record that is buried in there somewhere. Is there some way to recover or extract my Firefox account password from one of the devices I am signed into? or is totally resetting the account the only option available?

Hello, my Firefox was able to use the camera normally but recently I can't turn it on at all, it says it needs Windows permission but it seems on that front everything should be correct. Pics attached.

When I run Thunderbird, it automatically downloads my new e-mails. Every time I launch the program, it gets stuck on the next to last e-mail (i.e.- the display shows 8 of 9) and hangs for several seconds, during which I can't use the program at all. Is there a fix for this? I turned off junk mail scanning.

My emails have stopped coming through and the notification boxes state that the username and password are invalid, although nothing has been changed.

When The app launches or when it's told to send / receive, the app says it is downloading 10 messages but only 5 show up in the inbox (the actual numbers are for example only). The extra emails do not appear to be in the junk folder. The two accounts are: @verizion and @netzero. Where are the other emails going? I've looked in all the local folders. Any help truly appreciated.

Good day, Last update of Firefox "131.0.2", I faced an issue mentioned in the attached below. Lines of text or numbers are overlayed over each other. I downgraded to Firefox "128.3.1esr" and the problem is resolved. Now I'm staying on the older version till the issue is resolved. Bitdefender blocks Firefox from accessing cloudfront.net..calling it a suspicious site. The connection attempts happen constantly... quite a nuisance. I hesitate to put this site on an exception list without knowing more about it.

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

It is annoying that search executes immediately instead of triggering on enter keypress, especially when a web page is big. Is there any way to disable auto-search and trigger it only when you press enter?

If you want to understand better it's pretty similar to this VS Code issue.
