How do I sync bookmarks? The Firefox "Help" says: - "Tap the menu button Tap Sync and save your data."

I can tap the menu button (Three dots at top right of the screen). A menu appears, but there is no "Sync and save your data".

Ever since I switched my search engine to duck duck go I've noticed that from time to time the firefox app deems to freeze up and either it continues or just crashes.

Suddenly the entire UI of the browser has changed. I have a big bar at the bottom of the screen taking far too much space with buttons I hardly ever need. And when I do need them I know where to find them. Thus they need not be as available as that (read: constantly in the way). It's not enough that it goes away when I scroll down as it pops up as soon as I scroll up again, along with the address bar.

How do I remove this bottom bar? The older UI was far better and didn't take this much space.

I like the old design better. The new Firefox adjusted for Android thingy is annoying. I want to go back to the Firefox version I used yesterday and everyday before.

Thunderbird does not import current messages from Gmail, it lags several hours behind. For example, Gmail will show new messages arriving at 9 am but Thunderbird shows most recent messages arriving at 12 am. I have checked settings and it seems like syncing is set correctly. Google Pixel 9a, Android v16.

I would like specific instructions on how to change update default search engine as well as site setting and internet/ web pages safely and with correct information

in previous versions the 3 dots menu would open up the newer redesigned main menu that fills the lower 2/3rds of the screen by default, but by enabling debug settings and going into Nimbus Experiments and disabling "Android UI Redesign - Release" it could be changed back to the older, more compact dropdown-styled menu. as of one of the recent updates, the "Android UI Redesign - Release" toggle seemingly does nothing.

I preferred the older menu for several reasons. one issue being that the new menu lacks a new tab button. the others being that it just _feels_ subtly yet annoyingly worse in just about every way.

so, is there any way to still use this old menu, via about:config settings or something? or am I just SOL and need to figure out how to downgrade my version?

Syncing tabs, passwords are very useful, but it is quite disappointing that there are no available option (during synchronization) to select Collections as well... Or am I missing some obvious way to do that ?
