Tenho o Win 11 23H2 com Firefox 124.0.1 instalado. Há meses , devo usar o Avast Browser para acessar o Amazon.com.br ou qualquer site do gov.br. Já desinstalei tudo e reinstalei do zero , sem extensões , mas o problema continua. Alguém sabe me ajudar? Desde já agradeço.

I'm a longtime ubuntu (lubuntu, actually) user, and upgrading LTS versions every 2 years has been pretty easy til now: all I had to do was copy my .thunderbird folder to the home directory of the new system.

When I do that now for the pre-release version of lubuntu 24.04,, the new Thunderbird requires setting up the new profile from scratch, which is a pain, since I use T-bird for multiple accounts.

Is there an easier way of migrating my emails from my old profile to the new system?

I have Firefox on Windows, Linux, and Android. Anytime I use Firefox on a desktop, it sends me to Tornado Alley in Kansas. However, I am not in Kansas, and I don't have dog named Toto either. I am in the Detroit area. If I use other browsers, I don't have this problem. It only happens on desktop computers. On my cell phone it shows the correct location. I have already done the simple troubleshooting measure (for a year now: clearing cache, uninstall, reinstall, etc...) and NOTHING removes me from this Tornado Alley, Kansas location on the Firefox browser. If I use Chrome, Opera, Edge, etc... I don't get this problem. It must be something in the Firefox program.

would like to raise my concern my curiosity regarding a recent issue I encountered. Specifically, I need to address how my IP details are being accessed, especially when using enhanced protection measures. Additionally, I am concerned about the privacy aspects of private browsing and whether unauthorized individuals can gain access to my user details legally.

For some reason when I opened Firefox this morning, my Firefox home page did not have any of my shortcuts. They all disappeared. Please have a look at the image attached to see what I mean.

I spent almost the entire day searching up the issue on the Internet and trying different things but they all did not work.

Is there a way to replace the navigation icons on the context menu with their text-only counterparts?

I've tried the following code segments which provide less-than-optimal results.

This one which worked in FF 88, now removes the icons, but leaves 4 blank buttons in a row with no text...

#context-back image,
#context-forward image,
#context-reload image,
#context-stop image,
#context-bookmarkpage image {display: none !important;}}

This one completely removes the options, but I would like to keep them, and replace them with their text counterparts

#context-navigation,
#context-sep-navigation {
   display:none !important;
}

Please see attached images for the before and after of what I'm trying to achieve.

Might be nice to have the blank icon column to the left of these 4 items so they all line up with the items below, but I can live without that if it's not possible.

I deleted Thunderbird, than Installed latest version. Now in Thunderbird "Use Primary Password" is clicked so I can't reset primary P/W. Previous P/W doesn't work because there is no P/W there as far as I can see. Instructions I found: "Tools> Developer Tools> Error> etc. There is no "Error" button. Instead I get Incoming Connection (attachment) and an other screen that I don't understand. Can you help please? Thank you Ilio Pieroni

Hi there! I made a screen-shot just in case I don't explain this well :) In my inboxes this works well on both my emails - the "groups" 'today, yesterday, last 7, last 14 & older' are all expanded all the time. (see image)

This is however not the case in other folders like sent, junk, deleted etc. I need to manually click the name "today/yesterday etc." to expand it. Next time I go to that folder again, they are all 'un-expanded/closed/collapsed' again.

I would like them to be expanded as default all-the-time in every folder I have! Is there a setting for this somewhere that I can set to 'true' or just check a box?

When I pull up my settings, it states that my browser is being monitored by my organization. The problem is that my laptop is my private laptop and not connected to any organization, at least, not with my knowledge. When I click on the link associated with the message, it lists two policy names. One policy value is locked with the word true after it. The other policy value is unlocked with the word false after it. What do I do?

I have recently had a Computer Crash and have set up a new Computer. However, I cannot find a way to synchronize my old Bookmarks. Part of the Problem probably is that when the Syncing was originally set up, I was using a different User Name [e-Mail Address] to that I am using now. I have been using Firefox since 2006; and have an old Sync Key dating from some time in 2014; but cannot find a way to enter it into the current Firefox Settings. How do I recover my Bookmarks?

Since my Firefox browser has many issues these days, I tried to reinstall it but forgot to leave the box next to “Remove My Firefox Personal Data and Customization” unchecked when I proceeded with the installation.

I don't have any manual backup of my Window 11 system or bookmarks / passwords stored on Firefox. And all Firefox folders now have a last-modified time later than the time when I clicked the installation file. Thus, I guess my bookmarks / passwords stored over the past two years are forever gone. But I would like to make sure that it is really the case so that I can move on and start feeling better.

I understand it was completely my careless mistake. But your kind feedback would really, really be appreciated.

Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx
