Am using 115.10.1 Thunderbird on Windows 10. This email account inbox shows one unread message, but I can't find any unread message. Toggled message threads to see if a previous message was unread, but could not find any there either. Have both closed Thunderbird and restarted the computer, but it made no difference. It is bothersome, but my main concern is whether this is indicating some virus or other hack of my computer. This is just a home computer, not on a business network. Do have it on wi-fi. Is it just a matter of somehow resetting the unread message indicator or is it a sign of something more serious?

Quite often I find that Thunderbird is very slow to obtain a connection with my Outlook account. I can run my Outlook directly and everything is updated in about 20 seconds and at the same time it may take a couple of minutes up to a few minutes for Thunderbird to complete downloading. Additionally, many times during this lag in connecting, I receive a message that the password is incorrect, which is bogus; all I have to do is select "Retry" and the download process continues. I am using the latest version of Thunderbird "115.10.2 (64-bit)." This problem has been occurring on previous versions as well.

After last 2 updates several emails were showing up as code. I think I have that stopped. But now 1 email combines with many with to & subject correct, but the from & preview is all the same email from Amazon from 2017.As time goes on, it takes over more emails. My phone email is fine, so this is strictly a Thunderbird issue again.I used sfc/scannow & it said it found problems & they were repaired. Now I see a few more emails look like this. I'm about ready to chuck Thunderbird & go back to Outlook. This has been going on for several weeks with the first issue, the combined emails just started today.

Any idea why the menu code I'm using below to reduce padding in menu items is only affecting Firefox in Windows 10, but not in Windows 7?

It's a very strange anomaly. This is true for both FF 125 and FF 115 ESR.

When I would mouse-over a thumbnail on the Youtube home page I use to get a video preview with sound and text controls displayed. Video preview and controls are now missing on homepage thumbnails. Is there a way to get preview and controls back ?

I cleared the cache and cookies...no effect. Problem does not exist with Edge browser.

Needed to look through my April history (pages looked at) in the Library. I had APRIL history up, ready to look through it. I tried to delete one page and it DELETED the whole MONTH. How do i get the APRIL history back? APRIL is gone from the list. jumps to March after the last 7 days

I went to RESTORE but this talks about BOOKMARKS It shows for today may 7, 149 items for example then it shows April 29, april 9, april 4 april 1, each with about 150 items but if I were to click on these it says will replace all BOOKMARKS,

I am in the middle of creating a new event. If I click on the "Invite Attendees" button an "Invite Attendees" dialog appears with an email address already loaded in the first line. In my instance, this email address isn't mine! It is an alias on our corporate Zimbra email system that hasn't been used for 15 years, but is nowhere in my Thunderbird v102.15.1 client. It also isn't in any of my Thunderbird accounts. Where can I define this?

On my iMac 2017, up-to-date OS, Firefox won't load YouTube. It only shows the spaces for videos. Attached is a screen shot with the console info, but I don't know what it's telling me. However, on my MacBook YouTube works fine, so maybe I have a setting wrong on the iMac? Meanwhile, I just switch to Safari. Thanks for any help

When I click on the arrow to acquire any emails from my isp it will often say downloading 3 emails or 5 emails or some number, but only one or two come in. I have to hit the arrow again to get more. Sometimes it will say downloading some number of emails, but NOTHING comes in. I don't remember this happening until about a month ago. Can you help?

I have a calendar event with multiple people set up. I want to add a person to the event and only send a new invite to the new person (and not send a second invite to the original invitees). Is this possible? thanks.

Hello, I have Webmail by Godday. I have been using Thunderbird for many years to connect to my accounts without issue. Past couple days I get an error message saying it can't connect to the server. Godaddy says they haven't changed anything. I can log in on Webmail but not with Thunderbird. Thunderbird brings up my mail from before it couldn't log in so I have all my stuff I have saved but I can't get new mail or send mail. I deleted Cache, restarted and all that... Disabled add-ons in trouble shooting mode. Here is what I got. Much appreciated

Hello, since upgrading to 115 Thunderbird has disabled all add-ons, and does not have an option to reenable them. This was done to several extensions which are not marked as incompatible including "NestedQuote Remover" and "Unmangle Outlook Safelinks". Removing and uninstalling them solves nothing. Indeed, the button to install from the market does not work. I had to save to and then install from a local file to test this.

I am not in trouble-shooting mode, but I have found that "Load Temporary Add-on" in debugging works for the current session.

(I tried searching Google and this forum to no avail.... only turning up irrelevant thread about older versions, Firefox etc.)

I want to keep browser open after closing last tab. I changed the boolean parameter "browser. tabs. closeWindowWithLastTab" to "false" but the browser still closes with closing of last tab.

What else is required ?

I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Please see attached photo as an example.

Hey folks, I've been noticing something peculiar with Firefox that's been bothering me lately. Whenever I try to watch videos on YouTube in resolutions above 1080p, they tend to randomly buffer. It's quite frustrating, especially when I know my internet connection is stable and other browsers don't seem to have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this problem with Firefox? And if so, do you have any tips or solutions to share? Thanks in advance for any insights!

I've gone into "sort-by" and tried enabling threading. I've tried checking the unthreaded box. Group job related email still just disappears. I can't find received group email in the trash or in the junk. I can't find any evidence in Thunderbird that the group email was received. If I go to a different email tool, there it is. Thunderbird is broken. If I scroll back in time and accidentally scroll past the date of the first group email, there it is. I can't be spending all day scrolling through months to years worth of email just to find out I got a group email from someone today. This is totally unreliable way to find an urgent work email.

Do Firefox menus appear differently in Windows 10 than they do in Windows 7?

In Windows 7, I see the normal system menus - square corners, light blue menu item highlights, 3D column line on the left, dark drop shadow below and to the right of the menu.

In Windows 10 I notice differences - gray-highlighted menu items, rounded corners, no drop shadow, etc.

I'm not using any code to style the menus.
