There seems to be a javascript issue on youtube (+ other sites), as nothing happens when I click my username "tab" next to Sign Out, where a menu should expand. I've unintalled FF, reinstalled, removed most addons, and checked settings. Works in Chrome.

Also on youtube there's an issue with "James Blunt, live from London" bar at the top of the page not disappearing when I click the X.

Just a suggestion...

I am using Firefox on many sites. Among them, some are in french while other are in english. No problems while reading. But, when we are writing something, it would be very nice if Firefox was able to switch to french/english, provide for example an associative list of languages/URLs

I recently updated Firefox. The Bookmarks menu shows a new menu item called "All Bookmarks". It appears to be a copy of the bookmarks. When I try to add a new bookmark, the All Bookmarks folder is the only one shown in the dialog. I tried deleting the All Bookmarks folder, but then nothing is shown in the dialog when I try to add a new bookmark.

If I do add a new bookmark, it is put under the All Bookmarks folder and does not show up under the top-level item I want it under. Any ideas about what I can do to fix this.

The update went normally without my intervention.

Thanks

When it has disappeared I can open Firefox again using the menu or the opening icon on the toolbar, but then it only shows up blank, so without the tabs that were opened before. Closing down all other icons on the toolbar is the only way to make the Firefox icon reappear and for me to open Firefox again with all my tabs. Please excuse my English, the jargon is difficult.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 3.5, I've had trouble editing text fields, both in some websites and in FF itself. I first noticed this when I went to edit the name of a website I was bookmarking. Clicking in the blocked-out title should (and used to) clear the block and position the cursor, but now the only way to edit it is to use the keyboard keys (End, Home, arrow, etc.).

Now I'm also finding a similar problem in the Facebook status update field, where it doesn't always respond to clicking or double-clicking my mouse to highlight a word or reposition the cursor.

I just upgraded to the latest 3.6 and was hoping this would be fixed, but it's the same or worse. Is anyone else having this problem?

I do a lot of work on the web and I have a ton of bookmarks that I use to maintain various sites. I have lost them all!

I have tried to install a clean copy of the programme and restore the Mozilla file from the User Library (in time machine) but all I have is a white space where the bookmark toolbar was! I also have a problem in trying to enter all the bookmarks manually again. I can open the bookmark drop down but I cannot save any bookmarks. Firefox will not let me bookmark any new pages. I still have all the passwords in the preferences so I do not want to install a completely new copy of the programme and loose these.

Are there any other system files that Firefox uses that I can restore from the backup to solve the problem? I have a Mac Pro and I am running OSX 10.6.4 I have used Firefox for many years and never had a problem before. Can anybody help - please?

Hi Folks I've just started using firefox and like it alot, my question is this, I like browsers to look as minimal as possible so I haven't got the menu bar displayed, I've found I'm only using the tools option anyway so don't need the others displayed. The only problem with this is having to display the menu bar and then close it again every time I want to use the tools option. Is there a method of putting a tools icon item into the navigation toolbar which I have displayed all the time? Thanks in advance for any help

I built a new web site with a template that I thought was current. It seems like it uses all of the standard stuff that Firefox insists on having. Other browsers are apparently more forgiving and open my site just fine. Alas, some people just use Firefox so I need to repair my web site. BUT I don't know what is wrong with it. Is there some way to pinpoint the problem, like does it hate my CSS or does it choke on this dash or that comma? I want to update my pages but I just don't know where to start. Thank you.
