If I try to use Messenger, I get an error message that I am not connected to the internet. This is just within the last 24 hours, but some are saying it's been doing that since the last update. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?

When opening the following bookmark https://www.youtube.com/@msolrecords I end up with https://www.youtube.com/msolrecords and page not found. If I type the @ it works. Windvine Content Description Module updated - problem fixed. I had alternately disabled both Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codex, closed and restarted FireFox with no success. This AM, I updated Windvine, closed and reopened FireFox. Amazon Prime video now works very well. Thanks for your trouble shooting tips ! Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. The taskbar stops popping up (it is set to hide) after I minimize then maximize Firefox. I know Fn + F11 will solve the problem, but I do not want to have to do that every time I maximize. I don't why this behaviour is desirable, but I'd like to turn it off as it wastes a lot of time. Thanks Phil

Sometimes I get notifications from Firefox which send me to "usefulcontentsite.com" (don't click this, might be harmful!) and when I click them, uBlock Origin blocks them. So I'm pretty certain that is spam (or worse). However, I could never attribute this to any page or maybe some harmful extension I have installed. Also, I mostly block site's requests for notifications.

Here is the list of installed add-ons: - ClearURLs (recommended by Mozilla) - Firefox Multi-Account Containers (official extension) - KeePassXC-Browser - uBlock Origin (recommended by Mozilla) - User-Agent Switcher and Manager (recommended by Mozilla)

So imo nothing exotic here.

Does anyone here have a clue where those notifications might come from?

It seems that this problem is common in firefox community. So first of all I basically tried all default troubleshooting steps such as dealing with cookies (turning off, tuning on, exceptions), cleaning data, cleaning cache, security settings, etc etc, even though I am on freshly installed firefox.

So lets see now, problem is with https://vk.com/ website. It works until processing my login info. After I enter necessary credentials, it reloads and just produces infamous error. Network monitor displays loop of login.vk.com domain migrating cookies to login.vk.ru which restores them and then finally trying to open actual account php page starts the loop anew. Well until NS_ERROR_REDIRECT_LOOP stops this shamelessness. Resetting all browser data back, just enables me to enter my credentials again and the same process starts again. I can access this website from the same network from different browsers from different devices and operating systems.

Currently I encounter this problem on recently installed Arch linux, with basically dwm and firefox, and since I had very rough time with how unpredictable this system were so far, I don't know how much it is browser issue, so I think I should mention it.

My passwords are saved on both my browsers, (firefox & safari), I've checked and double checked them. The password works on Safari just fine, no problems there.

I tried typing the email/password in on Firefox. Several times. No luck. I tried removing and retyping the email/passwords into the vault. No luck. I tried shutting the browser down and opening it up again. No luck. I tried restarting the laptop. No luck.

Does Firefox have a problem with Post.News?

A few hours ago, I had a problem logging in to pCloud. I didn't have any problems until recently, but now I get the following message: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to my.pcloud.com.

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

How do I resolve this situation and continue using pCload through Firefox?

With automatic updates, does Firefox actually notice when the computer's operating system no longer meets the system requirements? Will the update still be carried out, even though this could lead to problems with use, or will Firefox stop the updates automatically?

Since the update to version 118.02 FF, the downloads now end up in the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp instead of the 'Downloads' folder as indicated in Settings - General (see attachment)

I want to open Sky community but FF just flashes up a blank white page, yet it opens ok in MS edge which I dont use. If i cannot get what I want to open I will have to leave FF.

Firefox is my main browser but it seems like something is blocking full function on a website I need to work with. I can do it using Edge. I want to keep my browser Firefox so how do I clear that up?

Sometimes when i an typing a pink bar comes up at the bottom left of the screen? not sure if it Firefox or windows but sem to come up only in Firefox. Recently comes up a lot
