Since updating to 123.4 it frequently happens that I tap a link in a website and it loads about:blank and won’t stop doing that until I force quit Firefox and restart it

When a private tab is opened, it lets me know in the silent notifications on my phone with the "swipe or tap to close" the tab/s. However, once I close the private tab that notification remains. When I click or swipe the notification it goes for a second and comes back despite not having a private tab open. Even with normal tabs open it does the same thing. Force stopping the app gets rid of it but the second a private tab is opened it returns.

I understand I can just turn off that notification but it's useful to have. Was just wondering if there is a fix or setting anyone knows of or how I can report this to Mozilla?

Ive noticed on Firefox mobile, I'm unable to click any post buttons. In particular Ive noticed it when I would tap a button to upload a file (like a photo). While this happened on Facebook and Instagram, it also happens on my friend's personal project site.

This is specific to Firefox on Android. Happens whether or not I toggle Desktop mode.

It simply does nothing when I tap any buttons associated with uploading a file. The button does not visually flash or anything. Nothing at all happens.

Ironically I can't upload an image on this very form because of it, though this button does highlight like I pressed it.

Dear team, 1) thanks for your work! 2) I can observe a quite important problem which could make me uninstall the app. Mozilla is now draining much power, even while not using it (e.g. at night where I can monitor the problem). I can observe that since I switched to a pixel 8 phone. (Which has itself a poor living battery). The phone can hardly survive a day and a night without being charged. And when charged on everything. It can loose up to 30% battery until the morning. Another phone could be 5%. What really strange is android show me that during that period of time Mozilla was responsible for 90% of this leakage. I had sync enabled.(Tabs, history and bookmarks) I removed it, but the leaked percentage of Mozilla at night stays around 70%.

I am not receiving my email. When I try to, I am told to enter password. Even when creating a new password, I continue to get the same request to enter my password. I don't know how to get out of this predicament. Need help!

I have tried erasing my browser history, cookies, etc. from the history tab and also from inside settings. However, the history is still intact. Looking for some help, I think it may be a bug. Thanks

I've spent a long time tidying up the passwords on my main PC. Every so often I did a manual sync too. I also imported into Edge occasionally and I noticed a few sites' details there that I had deleted from FF. Strange! Anyway, I finished the tidy up and went to my Android phone (set up to sync) and did the sync there and it looked OK. I then had the idea to look here for the 'extra' one I had seen in Edge and sure enough it was there! I also noticed lots of others I had deleted from the 'Master'. Changes to passwords had been replicated successfully though. What is the logic for syncing in these instances? I then signed out of FF on the phone to stop the sync and deleted one that was common to both and then signed back in and synced - it did delete it from the PC when I synced that. This makes me nervous to delete them all from the phone when signed out and syncing upon re-connect. So, what is the safe way to make the password details from the PC be an exact copy on the phone - no extras?! My thoughts were to disconnect the phone (but hoped it would remove things), delete the details manually if required, sign back in and re-sync. But I don't want to risk the sync actually wiping out the contents of the PC! Thanks!

The soft touch(or short touch?) feature on the website doesn't seem to work on Firefox. Compared to chrome, Samsung Internet, Brave, Vivaldi

In other browsers, if you lightly touch a post on a community site, etc., the post will highlight or display a preview image, but Firefox does not show this feature, only displays a system window, such as copying links, when pressed strongly.

This problem seems to be related to the browser's touch function. It's not a long press. It's a matter of short press

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. Hello world! (Sorry; had to.)

I just started using Firefox for Android, as a workaround to the problems I'm having with playing my YouTube playlists.

But, I'm having several problems in Firefox for Android.

1. Playlists (the actual lists of videos) cover the video that's currently playing. My workaround to this is to play in full screen mode, but that brings up problem

2. Full screen videos automatically switch to landscape orientation, despite system settings, with no apparent way to switch back to portrait orientation without also exiting full screen mode. I've tried rotating my phone with auto rotate on/off; neither setting has any affect on the orientation.

What's extremely frustrating about this is that any workaround is actually a workaround to a workaround to a workaround; it's workaroundception.

What I really really want is to be able to simply play my playlist/listen to it without having to jump through hoops and without having to burn through data like a bonfire burns through sticks.

IMO, the best solution would be to download the entire playlist:

...in one go, and stick it on an mp3 player like it's 2009. So far, the only YouTube to mp3 sites I've found only download individual videos; not whole playlists. (And that's not really a Mozilla issue anyway; the Mozilla issues are the unwanted rotation and the video stack covering up the currently playing video.)

NUMEROUS websites respond that I need to enable JavaScript when I'm using Firefox bruiser on both my phone and in my Mac. How do I do this?

There have been numerous requests for this information and it's never been answered!

I am trying to sign into a website using a username and password. I am using an iPad Pro. When I touch in the username field, I get a popup at the bottom of my screen reading " for xxxx.xxx.edu -- Firefox [username] I touch that and get a message from Firefox saying: "To use the AutoFill feature for Firefox, you must have a device passcode enabled. The issue is I DO have a device passcode enabled. I don't know why Firefox is giving me this message and at that point, all I can to is cancel and return to the website login screen. Any suggestions or help? Thanks much!

After installing a shortcut to a website that stages as an app through the Firefox Android app (Samsung 6.0, Android 14) when using said shortcut, if entering any text box the keyboard will pop up and rapidly close and open, making it unable to use. This problem happens on any text box, and with any keyboard. I'll attach a youtube link of a screen recording as well as a gif, though it's rather difficult to see the entire problem through a gif. For several months, whenever I need something auto filled, the only thing that pops up is a button that reads "Unlock Firefox" instead of the appropriate saved info. This button does nothing when tapped and when held down, there is tactile click, but then nothing.

Hey guys! so, for background, I'm using Firefox Beta on a Galaxy tab.

I have this thing when I use the browser in Multi Window and try to highlight a text by tap holding it. the pop-up menu (where you have options such as copy/cut and select, etc.) doesn't really show. this only happens to me on Firefox. what's up with that?

also, tapping a word twice doesn't select it even when I'm not using Multi Window... what's up with that?

When i enter fullscreen mode on my phone the android UI elements sometimes doesn't hide (see image). This occurs on sites like youtube and any other site where i try to play content in fullscreen.
