Hi, Hope you well. My previous laptop was stolen and I'm trying install now all my saved bookmarks. I had no problem to get them back on Chrom after looging to my Account. But I can't get back my old bookmarks on Mozilla. I see only the one which was saved on Chrome. Can you please help restore all my bookmarks before today day? I'll be really gratefull for help. I have a Mac desktop, a laptop with Windows 11, and an Android phone. I have about 120 bookmarks saved. On my Mac, they periodically backup fine and I can restore them if anything goes wonky. My phone and Windows laptop both show all the same bookmarks as the Mac. However, if I go to Manage Bookmarks to restore them on the Windows laptop, it shows many backups have occurred but only 5 bookmarks have been backed up. I have signed out of Firefox on all devices and signed back in. The Windows laptop did one correct backup showing the 120 or so bookmarks, and then every subsequent backup shows only 5 again. After a few weeks, the "correct" backup has been overwritten and is gone.

Anybody know what I can check to make the Windows laptop backup my bookmarks correctly?

When I access bookmarks using the manager/editor I see all bookmarks. However when I try to use bookmarks from the dropdown in the toolbar, I only see some bookmarks. I think it's the newer bookmarks that are missing but not certain.

I don't want to get the 'Add Bookmark' popup prompt when I right click -> Bookmark Link, I just want it to bookmark the link.

Unchecking 'Show editor when saving' doesn't disable this popup.

I use 'right click -> Bookmark Link' a lot, so would really appreciate a fix, thanks :)

How to reach a site used in the past (whether typed URL or used saved Bookmark!) ---but now Firefox won't let me access now, please?! I have some sites for decorating my online gaming site. Your settings warn me that the site isn't ---https://. --- which I realize, and FIREFOX stops me from going to the site. How do I temporarily use a site, then restore the security? I appreciate how FIREFOX keeps us safe! TY!

I have some Bookmarks on my laptop. I have some of these Bookmarks (Not all) on my tablet, plus some other Bookmarks.

If I sync them, which direction does the sync work in? Will all my Bookmarks on my laptop now appear on my tablet (Which I do not want to happen)? Will all my Bookmarks on my tablet now appear on my laptop (Which I do want)? Will I end up with two copies of most Bookmarks, because all my laptop Bookmarks are transfered to my tablet, plus all my tablet Bookmarks are transfered to my laptop?

I cannot find any explanatioin of what Sync actually does.

Bookmarks. I can't seem to log into my saved sites on any given day. I can log in on Monday but on Tues it will not log me in. Hell, it will not even show that I've got the saved bookmark at times. Yesterday I did banking from my PC just fine and today I tried again to log in and it failed, so I had to deleted everything AGAIN and started fresh. This has been happening for 2 months and it is affecting ALL my logins. I get locked out, delete, refill and repeat....I've had to call my banks and amazon because the switch over from Google was a gong show...I got locked out of every account. I can log in on my phone while looking at this stupid computer telling me NOPE you login password or name is wrong. Oh, and the pc doesn't sync the bookmarks with my phone so I've hand to manually add the bookmark.....I've actually had to carry my physical bookmark book for a month because I'm on the move a lot and couldn't trust firefox would let me into any of my sites....

tried to import logins etc from waterfox, but pull down list does NOT include waterfox, many others tho, so how can this be done without having to jump thru too many hoops

Hello wonderful Mozilla Firefox,

Could you please educate me on how I may change the default view of my bookmarks. I feel like it did not used to default to the "other bookmarks" in the "Manage Bookmarks" library window (ctrl+shift+o). I find it a bit annoying that it defaults all the way to the very last folder in my whole library. How to fix this? I tried to delete this folder but that is not possible. I do not need to delete, I just want for my view to default to either the very top, or possibly to remember its last accessed folder/location. Is this possible?

...unable to delete history (attached 1.png) and files still showing after clearing downloads (attached 2.png); unable to manage bookmarks (save via star in address bar or drag & drop to bookmark folder), delete or move bookmarks, create folders) outside of troubleshooting mode; unable to export bookmarks json file in any mode; NO CHANGE AFTER Firefox RESET... and routinely run disk utility & reset PRAM on this Intel computer...

Please advise, other than updating to latest compatible version (macOS Monterey 12.7.2) or replacing computer.

Firefox used to open the bookmarks to the left showing all the bookmarks, ever since that last update not the go right and aren't even the bookmarks I want, how do I change it back
