Recently I have run into an issue where any site I am logged into will not save that I am logged into that site if I close the tab or window. For example, if I am logged into YouTube, exit the tab, and open the same site in another tab, I then have to log into my account again.

I have tried this solution already: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1342460, to no success.

I am facing a critical problem with my website when accessed through Firefox. I have just started using Firefox and ticked that every internet tab is Firefox but every time I click new tab, it states "search with google or enter address" I cannot get into about:config to then get to browser.newtabpage.pinned How do I get rid of this Google message?

Thunderbird displays messages as a long list. It never did that before an update, and now I can not find out how to turn that nonsense off! I don't want to see every message from some person tabbed across the screen when I search for their name. I want to just pick one message, often a recent message.

How do I search for a message from a random person and only get one message I choose to view?

I have Windows 10 with current maintenance and current version of Firefox.

Don't know what the address bar is called, but I believe it once had a download icon. Am I mistaken?

Sometimes after I enter an address there will be an icon where I can download something. Is this website-dependent?

When Firefox connects to AMAZON, you do not show full access like other browsers, like Google Chrome or MS Edge. In particular, you do not have access to "sizes" and subliminal access to prices like Google Chrome or MS Edge

I recently changed to Firefox from chrome and the focus on security and privacy was a much needed upgrade. However, every time I close my windows I'm logged out of all my accounts. I checked all the settings that would have that effect even escalating it to a clean install and unfortunately nothing works. After checking the support forums this setting seemed to be the one that fixed things, attached is a screenshot showing that its unchecked and that there is cookie data stored, so I'm really at a loss.

While on michaels.com I click on a product, it goes to the product then immediately the screen goes blank. It also happens when I do a search, multiple products show up, then the screen goes blank. I don't have that issues on other websites. What is going on and how do I solve this issue?

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. 4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

Had to reinstall my pc over consistent error messages (thank you windows 10 for being the same pos system), and now all my bookmarks are gone, the bookmark backup folder is also empty, I have two years worth of personal and business related sites saved that will cripple me financially and mentally if I can't get them back.

Reaching out to Sync to try that, but looking for any kind of alternative fix here to recover the bookmarks.

we want to switch our Firefox configuration from file-based (policies.json) to GPO-based. We rolled out the GPO on some test clients and it worked like a charm.

But... It shows that there are some clients which need a second firefox installation for a special purpose, which is not allowed to enter the internet or update itself.

The file-base configuration can handle these to different installations with two differend policies.json files.

Is there a way to accomplish this scenario with the use of GPOs? The GPO-base configuration seems to be global for every client.

At this moment i don't see a solution for our problem. Do you see one?

Firefox is running x 8 in my task manager at the moment. Why does it keep multiplying and slowing down my computer? I am almost ready to uninstall Firefox. If I merely need to revert to an earlier version of Firefox, please let me know how to do that. Thank you. Shannon

my electronic health record is freezing using Firefox on 2 different computers in 2 different locations. Internet speed 45 mbps at 1 location and 900 mbps at another. Able to use it on chrome.

When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.
