Hi. Cannot seem to figure out how to remove 3 Mozilla Firefox notifications appearing vertically up the right side of my windows 11 LG gram laptop. They are covering up part of the mozilla dropdown window when I click on the 3 little lines in the upper right hand corner. Sorry, not very good at explaining this. I know I have to eliminate these spam notifications, just need step by step instructions... Please help me, Thanks [edited email from community support forum]

Mozilla made an update of my Firefox installation on my Win11 laptop. all my password disappeared as well as my history and bookmarks.

I have now a virgin installation and is starting from scratch.

Now I get this error message: "This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile." I deleted met shortcut and I opened Firefox by using Windows search. Now I see 4 profiles! I think I do not need to create a new profile. Maybe delete 3 of them ? What to do ? And, how?

Hello, For FF on Linux running in KIOSK mode, is there a way to allow the user to perform a refresh like you can do in normal mode by pressing F5 ? This seems to be disabled in KIOSK mode.

Please Please Please advise how to modify settings to stop copying emails to "All Mail" folder. There are nearly 14K emails in that folder, and it's killing my capacity, I'm getting warnings, etc. Yes, I'm using Gmail.

Yes, I have unsubcribed from it, starting from my account name → Subscribe → unchecked [Gmail] All Mail. To no avail...

Of course, I do not want to delete mails I have saved in my hundreds of other folders. My mail goes back 25+ years, and I want to keep those archives.

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks

Folder name: BOGUS AI PRAISE-MKTING-BOOK CLUB BULLSHIT I had been adding emailed marketing messages that I knew were fake into this folder for about two weeks. This morning, after a Windows 11 Update, when I tried to add another such message to that folder, the entire file folder was missing. I tried everything I could think of, including looking for help online, to no avail. This folder contained around 500 emails, over 200 of which I hadn't even opened.

I've been searching for three days now for a solution that will work to restore my profile from a crashed windows-7 machine to my new windows-11. Nothing listed in any forum or help desk works as described. I used to be able to just rename the folder to the exact file name on the new PC, but windows 11 won't let me do anything. It always needs admin permissions and even after I activated the admin account and assigned a password, I still cannot copy to the folder or rename the folder. Every attempt to do this on W-11 fails. It shouldn't be that hard and I'm tired of wasting days playing with this. I have important bookmarks, passwords etc. I want restored, and I need help. Nobody wants to pick up a phone anymore to assist!

I have never used "sync" because I have multiple PCs and each used for different applications and yes some go back to W-7, the operating system that actually worked well. Each PC has Firefox and a distinct bookmark file.

I went to "about:profiles" and created a new profile thinking I could copy to the new folder, but when i switched profiles I couldn't get back to the original default! HELP!

Since version 148.0b2 (64-bit), it's once again not possible to enter search terms in the search box of a new tab; instead, the browser searches in the address bar. I've had all the settings I found in the forums configured correctly for over five years, and they haven't changed. - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar = False. Despite this, the search still occurs in the address bar. Now I'm back to the awful search in the address bar. How can I fix this? Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

Jetzt geht es aber wieder mit der Schrecklichen suchen in der Adresszeile los. Wie kann ich dies ändern? Bitte diesen Fehler (Bug) schnellst möglich beheben.

When I logged in this morning my FireFox screen had changed. The window for searches had disappeared and the "pocket" selections were all about India and its events. None of the previous options were there. What happened and how do I get back to where things were?
