Hello, I have new computer. Why after changing password and log in I do not have any personal data? It has been NO WARNING about it... How can I get data of my firefox back???

I have appreciated Firefox for many years, so long in fact that I no longer have access to the email address that I signed up with. I have had no reason to access my account so I did not realise that it was out of date. I was accessing my account to check that I had two-factor protection and since I could not access the account I decided to create a new account and used the help pages to move my profile to the new account. I was able move my profile and access all my bookmarks and PASSWORDS! I simply uninstalled Firefox, moved my profile to another location, downloaded Firefox and copied the old profile over the newly created profile. I opened Firefox and could open the password manager and see all my passwords. I could not believe how easily I could access all the sensitive information. I needed no password - just access to the profile. This profile will be saved on any computer that I have used to log into Firefox. Anyone with access to those computers could easily repeat what I was able to do. This is a serious secuirty flaw and I simply can't believe I was able to do this!!!!!

I’m experiencing some issues with site indexing in Mozilla Firefox. Certain websites that I frequently visit don’t seem to be indexed correctly, which is affecting my browsing experience.

I’ve tried clearing the cache and cookies, and I’ve also checked my privacy settings, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions on how to resolve it or further steps I should take?

I recently added a new 'message filter' setting to Thunderbird, to redirect some of my received emails to a local folder. After doing this i do not get any indication of a redirected email being received, no sound & no count on the icon. I do still Get both sound and count indication for messages that remain in the main account folder. All other settings are correct and working. Am i missing something or is this a bug ?.

I am not able to login into my gmail account. Whenever I try to sign in, it shows the message as shown in the attached image. I have tried clearing all cookies and cache. Also removed all the extensions to see if it fixes it Please help me. I have Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon Firefox version 131.0.3 (64-bit)

Hello I use Thunderbird version 128.3.1esr (64 bity)

I have a problem. Everyday thuderbird do "cataloging mailboxes" - i have 10 mailboxes and each day Thunderbird do this to random few mailboxes.

each few days he create new inboxx folder and copy to them mails - now i have 21 inboxes with duplicated mails.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this complex problem?

I look forward to helping in any way possible . But I'm on strike, my union rep told me to wait and do absolutely nothing until my back pay was caught up. It's not a cop-out I promise. It's just the best thing for me because I've started not liking anything anymore. I'm getting the opportunity that Is our biggest dream or mine anyway. I'm starting over with a clean slate from God and myself to go and see what he gave us for free no strings attached. Of course, I use the features of modifying the CSS on the web page for my own project, for speed, while transferring the modifications is annoying and takes up my time, so I would like to ask if there is a feature that enables me to save the modifications to the current file or the CSS file of the page.

Hi, on FF for Mac vers.131.x. As of last couple of months' updates, the Save as PDF title has changed to Untitled. Prior the PDF title took the name of the web site. I want the latter. How do I change Settings? cheers

I wanted a thicker scrollbar, so I changes the preference for widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style, and since then I'm missing the scrollbar arrows no matter what I do, which style I choose, which other preference I change or what CSS code I add to the Chrome folder in the Profile Directory.

How do I restore these arrows without resetting all the preferences?

For the last week or two, (since version 1.30.x or so) my Mac running Sonoma (in aarch64) Firefox hasn't been able to update itself. Now I have no VPN causing woes (like Nord) I do however, use Adblocker Ultimate and Ghostery.

So I do the manual update, and find that the link doesn't "automatically start" the download. So I tell it to download manually with the big blue button... no dice.

If I open that up in a new tab... it STILL doesn't work. But as soon as I remove the last section:

Incidentally, it downloads fine in all the other browsers (Brave, Safari, etc). Also the entire Mozilla support site, if accessed using Firefox, looks as though no CSS is ever loaded. It's been like that for days. Everything else works fine. Just Mozilla sites.

Is anyone else having this problem? It was updating fine until recently.

Updated to OS Sequoia. When performing search in Address Bar in Firefox before update (previous OS editions), pressing "Control, Return" automatically added the .com to the address and went directly to the site requested. Since updating to OS Sequoia, performing the same task, it will still take the user directly to the .com address, but now shows the following illustrated in the attached file. This does not occur when using Safari or Opera. Did the OS Sequoia update break something?

I can't find a topic area for this - I assume the mods will move it or delete it as appropriate.

These are suggestions for improvements to this forum, where I'm pretty new.

1. When I ask a question that doesn't give me answers I want I get to hit the "Continue" button in the "Still need help..." box, only to be presented with an empty question line. It would be helpful if my original question were copied across.

2. It would be helpful if questions and last answer were dated in the results list. It's a bit annoying to click on an answer only to find that it's from so long ago that it's irrelevant.
