You seem to have addressed this topic well but not simple enough for complete non-techies like me who can really only do "Click X, then right hand click Y, then click Z" etc. Is there a noddy solution I could try? Thanks. Derek

New sites online (foxnews.com, newsmax.com and others) will not load comments. Had to remove shield and try several things. Still a problem. Everything before 146.0 worked. I'm sorry I did the upgrade as all this takes too much time.

  For a couple decades now, my favorite browser has been Firefox.

I've manually enabled my Web Cam and Mic in the browser settings to work with Facebook. It seems like Firefox still DOES NOT SUPPORT Facebook 's Video and Voice functionality. Anyone know, if there's a possible fix for this? Is Firefox Software Development Team working to correct this issue and is there a possible projected date on this resolution ?? Please don't hesitate to help me with this technical problem...

I have two audio outputs I'm trying to use. I want my main output (device A) to stay as the default, but have Firefox play out of the other (device B). There is no option within the browser's settings to change the output device, so I am controlling them through Windows' Volume Mixer. If I set device B as the system default, it works, and it allows me to change Firefox to play from any output. However, if anything else is set as the system default and I set Firefox to play from device B, it doesn't work. It seems like it ignores only specifically that one device, and only when it is set at an app-specific level. It works on all my other outputs no matter which is the default. Even if I have device B as the system default, then at the app-specific level, set FF to any other device, then select device B, it ignores this and continues to play out of whatever device it played from last. The ONLY way I can get Firefox to play audio from device B is with device B as the system default. It's already disappointing that I can't control this directly from FF settings, but the fact that it's also ignoring my OS settings is really frustrating. I've already contacted Windows support, and they say the problem is with Firefox since all my audio devices are working fine. If anyone can tell me a way to just manage this setting properly in Firefox, some way to get Firefox to recognize the device, or some way to allow my windows settings to take priority over whatever FF is trying to do, that would be greatly appreciated. So out of nowhere, I can't use the back button, or delete pages by clicking the 'x. I can't even click on the settings icon, or any icon on the menu bar. When I hover over any web page title, it shows a small window of it, but I can't get rid of it. I didn't change anything, so what's going on?

As the title says Firefox has stopped working for Mac a few days ago after the update. all I get when I open it is a blank grey box. My software is up to date and I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox multiple times, nothing worked. is there any way to fix this other than waiting for Firefox to update again? I just want to bring this to Firefox's attention so it can be fixed, I like Firefox it's my go-to browser to use.

I'm simply trying to email someone using the email link on their site.

The link is a mailto link which requires an email application (which I don't have). All I want is to copy the link to the clipboard.

Firefox lets me right click the link and copy the email address, but this doesn't allow me to provide the required Subject specified by the site's author.

I could have sworn Firefox used to have this feature. Netscape and IE certainly always had it back in the day.

I am trying to clear some out dated stuff off my computer to make some room on my dreive, and have discovered several older versions of Firefox, saved in a file, Can I uninstall them or delete them - I am worried that this might affect my newer version.

I use Norton Password Manager. I use Firefox most of the time as my main browser. I added the Firefox extension for Norton Password Manager when I got my new laptop, but it never does anything but hang when I try to utilize it. Today I finally turned off the extension and just ran the Password Manager as a new tab on the browser and had no problem with it running. However, it doesn't give me full use of the PM. (It does at least give me my passwords and user names, which the extension wasn't doing.) I keep notes with some of my passwords that are important to me. Using the PM on Firefox on this new laptop, I've found that none of the notes show up in the windows. Is there something I haven't turned off or on that's causing the problem I'm having? I use the PM on my iphone as well and have had no troubles with it. Thanks for any help. Sally 12/14/2025

Starting 2026 Comcast is moving all email over to Yahoo email. We will be able to keep our Comcast email address, but as of this writing I do not know what suffix Yahoo will add to my 2 accounts. Both of my Comcast suffixes are Comcast.net and that is how my email comes through now. I was shared a linked that I didn't from Comcast about the pending change. Will the suffix change from Comcast.net? I have attached the link that was shared with me.

I guess with your Comcast e-mail, you need to know this. Comcast e-mail is going away and users are being switched over to Yahoo e-mail sometime in 2026.
