I can hear NO AUDIO on ANY webpage, when in Firefox. I have gone through all the suggestions on this page: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-to-do-if-firefox-wont-play-any-...] but still have the problem.

Ever since Firefox browser updated, my Home (specifically Shortcuts) has been glitching.

They do not show up, no matter how many rows I add or subtract. Web search and Recent activity still works (to an extent) but Shortcuts? Never again. Please fix it ASAP.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I attempt to open Thunderbird in an iMac but the computer says it is already open and only one can be open at a time. I can not find a Thunderbird open on the computer.

When accessing my site (in attachment to avoid indexing), Firefox blocks with a "Possible security risk" interstitial. DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

If I attempt to print many emails at one time (by selecting a group of them from a mailbox), Thunderbird sometimes gets lost in the middle of the job and chooses a random email (not from the selected group or even the same mailbox) and combines many others into the same email and tries to print (leading to a single email showing 200+ pages for that one entry in the print queue and actually composed of many emails put together, but not the ones I selected).

Does not happen if I only select a few emails at a time.

Sounds like an indexing issue with the file that holds all the emails. Perhaps something gets corrupted?

Any suggestions?

Hi. I have this strage problem X writes a mail to "support". "Support" is a distribution list. I receive that mail

I then reply to X. Sender is "support" as it is defined as an Identity under the main mailbox Also there is a rule in that identity to sens a cc copy to support itself (so collegues belonging to list "support" receive a copy)

I then need to send a second email to X, starting from the sent message (as it is a follow up)

So i go under "sent mail", i find the message i sent previously, having from "support" to: X cc "support"

(1) I click reply and i get a message with: - from "support" - to "support" - cc "support"

So "X" has disappeared

(2) Note I have no button "reply to all", but if i right click the masse and the "reply to all", i got a good message with: - from "support" - to "X" - cc "support"

Hope this is clear. Someone can help ? My need is click reply and get result as described at (2) Thank you

I have a problem every time I close thunderbird, a few seconds later at least another two programs start up on their own. Its usually the Whatsapp desktop app or google games. Some times something from Nvidia will pop up.

Thunderbird takes a long time to open?? First it displays a blank page Then blank page marked: loaded Then it opens on the email account I saved the Profiles folder I carefully uninstalled, cleaned and rebooted, then reinstalled the latest version and replaced the Local folder in the new Thunderbird to find all my local folders Version 115.10.2 (64 bits) Win 10 Home 22H2

This isn't the first time this has happened. After each occurrence, I have to completely uninstall the browser and reinstall it from scratch. This means I have to reopen all my tabs, which is very annoying. In Chrome, I have had a large number of tabs open for many years and it works fine.

With Mozilla, something terrible is happening... I have many tabs open in Mozilla, and there comes a moment when, upon launching the browser and opening two or three tabs, Mozilla starts consuming up to 10 gigabytes of RAM. If I open a few more tabs, the browser crashes. I don't need to open 50 or 100 tabs, just 7-8-10 tabs are enough to make the browser crash. Moreover, if I open a new tab and go to google.com, the browser takes a very long time to load, even if it's the second tab.

This problem has happened before. I don't do anything with the browser, just visit sites like YouTube.

Clearing the cache and other recommended actions do not yield positive results. This is very annoying. Mozilla is my first and favorite browser, which I have been using for almost 20 years. I wouldn't want to uninstall Mozilla.

As of Supernova update it would seem, thunderbird is unable to fetch favicons for newly added feeds. They will always display a globe favicon, instead of the respectful favicons.

Worse still, it would seem like removing a feed from the folder doesnt revert it to the folder favicon, but rather keeps the globe!

is there a way to force thunderbird to fetch relevant favicons, or add ones manually?

115.05 when I started.

I typically open Thunderbird about once a month, download my emails from a hosted website, do some clean up, write some emails, close Thunderbird, and do the same about a month later.

Today I opened Thunderbird, saw that it was downloading around 400 emails, and waited patiently, as per usual. When done, however, none of them showed up in the main window. The latest email did not change, was from around a month ago. When I ask Thunderbird to Get Messages it says there are no new emails to download.

Also, I had previously opened emails in the top bar from the last time I had opened Thunderbird, but they were blank, no title and no content. (See screenshot #2)

I restarted Thunderbird several times, no change.

I then upgraded to 115.10, hoping this might fix the issue, but it has not.

Since restarting Thunderbird, 2 new emails have come in and are showing correctly, but none of the initial 400 emails downloaded today are showing anywhere. (See attached screenshot #1)

I repaired the Inbox folder, no help. I renamed the "Inbox.msf" file and had Thunderbird rebuild it, no help. I renamed the "global-messages-db.sqlite" file and had Thunderbird rebuild it, no help.

All of the initial batch of 400 emails - and the emails I had previously opened - just disappeared.

Does anyone have any idea what to do here?

Reaching my end with defects in thunderbird. I select items in the inbox/index of the UI and it isn't updating the email view pane.

Sometimes I select in the index, it highlights the message, doesn't update and then 10-15 seconds later, the UI does a big update like it had hung on something, and it just ignores my selection completely and selects whatever it wants. This is crazy.

I'll add I have a "unified folder" and despite the 3 accounts inboxes included from accounts configured to never auto update, IT ALWAYS does updates whenever it wishes. Again, this is crazy. Like it can't be supposed to work like this ?

So: Is this thing single threaded ? Is the "unified" folder functionality mature and does it work properly ? Suggestions or pointers to fix or research/test what I see is just flat out poor performance when clicking stuff in the UI ?

I really can't believe I'm questioning the basics of thunderbird.

Version is Win 10, 115.8.1 (64-bit), udpating now but I'd say I have found the basic performance to have tanked since the bug UI change to "modernize" it. Seems to me, without exact data to support that I have been degrading ever since. No updates I've made in last few months have improved anything.

Really don't want to leave but I'm about to try using it on Mac and Linux to compare and at same time I just configured all this in apple mail for the first time in maybe 10 years. This is something I never ever thought I'd do.

Last thought, I use same accounts, on iPhone (Boxer) and many iPads. I don't see any performance problems there so I'm pretty confident this isn't the mail servers.

as described, send tab function does not work one way (android to PC), but works fine from PC to android mobile phone/tablet. the pop-up error is the "Unable to send - RETRY", and pressing 'RETRY' doesn't do anything. I am logged in to the mozilla account on both android devices, and firefox sync/syncing tabs work fine. not sure what's the issue

I recently facing an issue that the Firefox browser randomly maxed out my RAM and went unresponsive. Like the screenshot below, I am only trying to open Facebook and Instagram, 2 tabs.

I have tried to open about:memory and about:processes to monitor but it just went unresponsive and both the monitoring just hanged.

Have no idea why the Firefox process taking up so much RAM. Need help.

There seems to be something specific to the Phlearn site and Firefox which prevents videos from auto advancing. They either recommence the just completed video or revert to an earlier one.

Windows 10. Weird glitch.

If I use Wondershare UniConverter's downloader function to download a video, as soon as the download starts, all Firefox open windows close. This is a recent thing, the last couple of weeks or so. I have reinstalled Firefox and UniConverter. The first time I tried it after reinstalling UniConverter, all was well. But the same issue has shown up again. I have tried rebooting my PC to no effect.

Any bright ideas welcome!

I have a user who sends me an email to one of my email addresses and it always ends up in the Junk folder. I've repeatedly marked his emails as not junk but that doesn't seem to change anything.

Is there anything I can look at that will help me figure out why it happens, and hopefully find a way to fix it.

I'm on Betterbird in case that matters. I looked thru the release notes and there seems to be nothing tagged with the junk filter.

I noticed this in the X-Proofpoint-Spam-Details email headers: mlxlogscore=764 clxscore=1015

This person seems to be the only person that has this information in their headers. Is it added by the junk filter? Or is it something on the sender's side (he uses an icloud.com and a me.com address)?
