This afternoon, without any warning, all my mail in every folder could not be displayed. This is the second time this has happened in the last month and a half. I have two mail accounts - one that goes through Yahoo and the other Gmail. No mail is displayed in either account.

When I run Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode, the mail does display. I then disabled the few addons that I use but that didn't make any difference. When not in troubleshooting mode, no mail is displayed.

Of course, there's "troubleshooting information" but that's way too technical for me to get anything out of it.

I've been a Thunderbird user for over 20 years and I would like to keep using it but this performance is discouraging.

What do I need to do to get past this issue? I'm assuming I'll be able to read an email response by using troubleshooting mode.

It says to drag and drop but that does not work. I minimized both windows and dragged the one tab to the 'larger' window and nothing happens. My email keeps opening in a new window and it never did before. It was a tab in my original window, and now it is so much harder for me to work.

I do not wish any of my passwords to be stored anywhere it isn't absolutely necessary. My own highly secure method I've been using for many years is listing them all on a removable drive that is encrypted and only in my PC's when necessary. Therefore, I wish to disable any and all PW Managers in the software I use. Please instruct me how to permanently disable the PW Manager in all Mozilla software.

Everything is stated above with an explanation of the reason.

Hello everyone! I also had the error, it randomly started moving messages to folders. I deleted everything, reinstalled (155.0.1), started building message filters. I'm at 29 now. (Gmail account) now I'm not getting new messages. For every filter I get a message saying that the filter could not be applied. No messages are coming, anywhere. What's going on?

Firefox new today stopped from loading some of my own websites that are http. Some http sites still work. Sends me to my hosting site https://www.forexample.org/login_up.php Cleared all history and caches. No change. Turned off http to https. No change. Again, just started today with no other changes on my part.

Здравствуйте! 1. Почтовый клиент стал показывать в папке "Входящие" по 10-15-20 копий одного и того же сообщения. 2. Когда-то была создана папка "Pending"во входящих сообщениях. Сейчас почтовый клиент сам по себе поместил ее в папку "Удаленные", причем во входящих двух разных почтовых ящиков. Создать эту папку как отдельную во входящих не удается. 3. Удаленную папку "Охрана труда" почтовая программа также поместила как отдельную папку в удаленных и воссоздает ее снова при запуске почтового клиента.

I added a new entry in my Address Book and sent a message to that person. I next tried to use Thunderbird to read messages and it locked up. No system shutdown/restart fixed that. Reinstall ofThunderbird did not fix it either. I have many stored messages that I do not want to lose, so I have not erased all about Thunderbird. What do I try next?

With the latest update to version 155, I lost all my tabs.

In my Settings, Startup, I do have checked "Open previous windows and tabs". This has worked many times after shutdown and restarting.

But this latest update did not start ver 155 with all my tabs. Has anyone else seen this? On Win 11 laptop. Steveg

I have three email accounts. One is with a btinternet.com domain, and Thunderbird 153.2.0 has started not fetching emails from it while getting all the others. I've removed and reinstalled the account and things work fine for a few days but then it stops again.

All the security settings, etc., seem correct, and I'm not getting any error messages, just nothing happens.

Any thoughts from out there?

I now have a very long Account Recovery Key which I have saved in a secure place, but I don't know how or when to use it. I am 85 years old, and am challenged whenever I have to sign in.

I would like to be able to turn off preload of videos (and images) so that I can watch a page with a lot of videos and only load those that I want to see. This is important if you don't have a high bandwith or a lot of data. I am sure I have done this before but now I am not able to achieve that.

I have Thunderbird 153.2.0esr which runs 2 Email filter (on Inbox and on Outbox)

These filters worked for years.

Suddenly, about at the end of July 2026, the stopped working.

I suspect that one of the latest release of Thunderbird make them stop working.

Is it possible? Any suggest?

Also the filter log registry is empty.
