Since the latest update 114.2 I cannot get Firefox to work properly on my Samsung phone. I have Version 8 of android operating system on the phone. When I attempt to search I just get a blank screen. In the web address box it just has an icon with a line through it and the web address. Refuses to display website. Doesn’t let me change from private browsing to regular browsing. Nothing I do seems to have any effect. Yes, I know I have an older phone but it was fine until this update.

I saw a similar problem and the user said thus 114.2 fixed the problem. Well, it broke mine. Please advise how to correct this problem. Thanks.

I am not on my phone. So the operating system info gathered is not from the system I use on my phone.

Periodically, the following bug occurs on different phones. I also found it in complaints on google play and I will take the text from there (you do not give a solution to the problem), but I will provide my screenshots. This is not the first time this issue has occurred, on various phones in my family. "I tried using it again, and EVERY website I try to access doesn't load. It just shows a gray screen and the lock in the URL bar is in the "connection is not secure" graphic. I can't even access about :config because it's also just a gray screen.HOWEVER, every other browser on my phone works." It helps to solve problems only by completely deleting all firefox files and then setting it up from scratch. It is unpleasant. On screenshots: the endless loading of the add-ons section and the display of any site.

Within the last couple days at least, firefox just does not load any sites on the phone. They simply show an empty page. Chrome will load the same site under the same network conditions.

So I had the update to this build: 114.2.0 (Build #2015957435), f986bd245f+ GV: 114.0.2-20230619081400 AS: 114.1

2 days ago and now nothing will load at all I reinstalled and tried to get in about:config but that also won't load. I am on a OnePlus Nord running Android version 11, oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

I given feedback on firefox in google appstore and developer told me to further explanation what is happening. Firefox sometimes, becomes unresponsive for specific sites ... It starts loading them, but it get stuck in 1/4 of loading bar. It happens early morning most of the times which is unusual, right after I wake up. Site that it happens the most is 9gag.com. However, sometimes it happens to google search itself. What is funny when I use google search to access 9gag it fixes the problem, at least 33% of time, force stopping Firefox and cleaning cache helps additional 33% of time. Sometimes restart of phone is only thing that fixes the issue. My phone is xiaomy redminote5 with lineage 18.1 which is android 11. I use addons ublock and privacy bagger. I don't know what's going on. All of the sudden, I just get a slash the the little "person" symbol to the far left of the search bar for every single tab and can't is the app at all, no matter what website I try to search. What is going on?

It happen since yesterday. When I open any tabs I choose in the app, it doesn't load, and only shows a blank grey page. I can't even refresh these pages. In fact, on every tab I go to, the results will be the same. Is this a bug? If so, please solve it.

I'm not really sure when this problem started, but since yesterday (05/07) I noticed that I am unable to open any website, even the google.com main site is not opening using Firefox for Android.

I use it as my default browser, so I really would like to be able to use it again as before.

I haven't tried to remove and reinstall it, but I will do it, just to be sure.

Hello. My Firefox for Android shows only blank pages on my Samsung A53 5G. Last month I had the same issue but an update was available immediately and it fixed the issue. Does anyone have the same issue? Thank you.
