I can see that the webOtp API is not supporting by the Firefox browser on mobile android devices. Where as the other browser are supporting it like Chrome, Opera,etc

Could you please let us know, why it is not supporting? Do we have any alternative for the same? When it will start to support it, etc

Hi there, Looking at pcapdroid and adguard DNS, Firefox on my android phone is constantly connecting to xxxxx.ingest.sentry.io.

Why does it do this? I get sentry is a crash reporting tool(?) however I have everything diagnostic wise turned off. I don't really mind but not having an option to disable this is a bit strange. Also why does it need to connect so often, even without a crash or error? I have over 50 attempts/connections logged in last 3 hours alone.

Lately, Firefox for Android has started "forgetting" active tabs. I have changed absolutely nothing in the settings. Most of the Active Tabs I've had for years are gone. Now I only have about 5 left & they get corrupted every couple of days. For example, the 3rd one in the attached Screenshot: I'm playing "catch-up" on old Guardian crosswords, currently on 15,179. At irregular intervals, say every couple of days, it gets replaced with an older one, 15,166 for example. I suspect it must have been changed in the Version released on March 19, 2024 (124.0)

I'm seeing glitches when scrolling on some sites, eg. google.com, orange.pl. I checked other browsers - chrome and Samsung internet (so based on chromium) and there seems to be no problems.

Hello there! I have an issue with the context menu, which appears on selecting a word on any web site (you can see it on the screenshot attached one after another as it appears)

The context menu is too long, and most frequent options like copy text are in the end (I should switch it many times to copy anything, it appears only on the third tap, and some weird functions like search in Edge appears before the really useful ones). How could it be fixed?

On the Firefox Android app, after closing few tabs, exiting the application and re-entering the application, the closed tabs reappears as if they weren't closed at all. I found this is a well known bug and there are few open threads on bugzilla on this topic. Someone said that's related to a corruption of the closed tabs' json file.

PS. It's difficult to share a screenshot, probably a video is more explanatory

I thought half my apps were gone randomly, then I realized they are all the ones that were web pages Saved to Home Screen, by Firefox! I'm very upset because there's no way I can remember all of them, how can I restore?? Android, no desktop fixes please!

Can high resources eatin' (maybe graphics, IDK) Ads, for Me in the Webside embedded and (sometimes) with 'movie' like movement decorated, automatically get blocked?

My phone runs slow, 'even' with just 1 Tab open and only Firefox Mobile App on the phone active.

Sorry, I can't see the field I type in currently, maybe I writ a bad layout right now, but content matters XD.

Whenever I use Firefox the UI image elements will become oversized making everything squished. I have provided pictures of the incorrect display and what it looks like on my default browser fir reference.

I said it all in the in the opening statement... What else am I meant to say?????????? It worked fine 2 weeks ago..? But now forget it!!!!!!! What has changed....you must know ... So don't ask me just fix it!!!!!!

My computer restated itself with an update. Now Firefox and all my bookmarks and saved log in info is gone. I normally can solve this by simply logging in and syncing from my phone. Firefox will not open a log in page from any of the icons on any Firefox page. I can log in using Chrome but of course sync from there is not possible. I can log in on my phone also. The problem is either my Mac settings or the Firefox settings on that computer. I have searched FAQ etc. No clear solutions can be found.

I have Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop computer. As of today, I cannot see my Firefox on my Android smartphone. The problem started when I saw that my computer desktop Firefox would not automatically update. When I tried to update manually, I lost my ability to use my Android Firefox. Don't know what to do next.

Any website that uses OscillatorNode and other similar features has the audio generated devolve into a crackly mess after only a second or two.

I'm having the same issue as previously posted below. I am on a Google pixel 7 pro.

"On youtube mobile site or a reddit video, when I click the bottom right button to fullscreen the video, a message pops up that says 'entering fullscreen mode' (with a firefox logo on the left of the message) and then firefox closes and I'm at my android home page

This seems to happen when I watch videos in a new instance. If I reopen firefox to the video and then try fullscreen again, it goes full screen no problem. So basically it's annoying and happens when I try to watch any video full screen for the first time.

Is this a known bug? Wasn't an issue on my old phone (I just got the galaxy s23). "

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.
