On a website I sometimes visit, I will occasionally upload images to share. Recently, I was using network access to upload images from a different computer, but that machine started acting up, and so Firefox tries to re-open the shared folder I was using on that other machine if I try to upload a file and cannot connect, so the file selection doesn't show up and I cannot use any other controls, just get the error SFX instead and I have to restart Firefox by closing it using Task Manager in order to restore function. How do I reset what folder it tries to open for file upload so it does not try to open that inaccessible network folder? It softlocks every time now.

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. Everytime I restart my PC (Win 11) Firefox updates, even when there's no updates to install. At the same time It loses all personalization on menus and browser preferences. It retains extensions, bookmarks and passwords, but the rest is always gone. I reinstalled, refreshed, deleted everything and everytime I try to reinstall, it happens ALL over again. Can anyone help me?

Virusscanner warning supposedly from "Mozilla Firefox" On my laptop I get these fake warnings (see attachment). Every time Firefox is opened they appear. The virus scanner says there are no virussen. How do I get rid of this?

I use both Firefox and DuckDuckGo. I also have NordVPN. Recently, I have been getting warnings through NordVPN that both Firefox and DuckDuckGo represent vulnerability risks. I have been using all three programs for some time now. This warning from NordVPN is something new. Is there a vulnerability risk or is there some in compatibility between new versions of these software packages?

I am using Windows 11 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9.

I need to reach the about:config menu but firefox takes me to a search menu on the engine I chose (duckduckgo). It provides lots of nice info but not how to reach this feature.

I am using Chrome OS so possibly that is the issue.

Firefox continuously minimizes itself. I have uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache etc I'll be in the middle of reading an article and down it goes. It does not happen on other web browsers so I do not think it is my phone. I installed with recommended settings

I store my passwords on Firefox, but when I look at the list it shows about half and when that list comes to the end it is immediately followed by all the missing passwords in alphabetical order my question is Can i make it 1 complete list again... This is on my android. I use Firefox on my laptop and they are in one complete list?? Thanks in advance for any help. Jack

As of today in Firefox Nightly for Android the buttons noted in the subject line above have now taken up a section of my screen instead of being tucked away in a menu, which is my preference. I cannot figure out how to put it back as I have no need for these to be persistent in any way. Please instruct me on how to reassert the previous settings.

when i have more than 10 pages open the app starts crashing, won't let me go back as well and sometimes just reloads. There were also situations in which he grabbed me without me doing anything. I have about 4-5 extensions (in the photo). I'm using Samsung Galaxy S24, my previous was A52 (I had no problem with it)
