In portrait mode, Ios FireFox removes the navigation bar on scroll. In landscape, nothing happens. The navigation bar stays fixed, bloated and sucking up the screen space on mobile Ios. Both Safari and Chrome and the me-too browsers Vivaldi, Edge, Brave have solved the issue of the navigation bar. FireFox on Ios performs so badly in this regard that it is unusable as a mobile browser on Ios. Landscape is used on mobile to get more screen space, but FireFox snatches 15-20% of the space with no alternative.

When I want to just open a file a select 'Open on Firefox' the browser opens a new tab but still downloads a copy of the file on my computer. This is extremely annoying because the choice is useless and I end up having multiple copies of the same file when the only thing is open the file on browser. Appreciate if you could give me an option to just open.

Hi My desktop Firefox remembers previous form fields and auto-fills them. I have my browser synced with my Firefox iPhone 7 iOS (using 12.4.1 because later versions have big issues and not keen to update). My iOS Firefox Daylight 30.0 (3279) doesn't remember previous form fields from previous webpages i have visited (which is a pain when having to enter Covid check-in details at venues. I have checked all mt iPhone and Firefox settings that have been suggested in Search results and can't find any resolution at Firefox Support pages. The only 'auto-fill' results I get at Firefox talks about Lockwise app, though any literature I have seen on it refers to 'Login Usernames & Passwords', not web form fields that I previously visited and filled out. Is this app 'needed' for form filling as well? I don't want another app on my iPhone if not necessary. Otherwise, how else can I get my Firefox app to remember and auto-fill previous forms? Hello. I am trying to access about:config in my iOS lastest version of firefox but nothing is happening. Actually I hate when a website autorefreshes itself while reading an article. So I want to disable that option as can be done on the desktop browser by setting accessibility.blockautorefresh

I've restored my iphone from icloud backup however my firefox history (not using sync) is only showing data for the last month and nothing more? Is this a limitation of the sql backup? Or does the iphone app only retain a months data ( around 1600 pages)?

I have a brand new iMac IOS 11.1 and am using Firefox 84.0.2. All is well except when I visit just ONE site. It is a text-based word generator site. You input certain letters and particular patterns, and all possible words are gathered and displayed. The first query goes smoothly. Results are displayed instantly. But if I immediately enter another combination of letters, sometimes (not always) Firefox freezes. I get the spinning ball of death until I force quit the application. This does not happen with Safari, but I my favourite browser is Firefox and do not want to switch. Could someone please explain why Firefox can't seem to handle this.

As per the title, if I click on address in iMessage on my iPhone 12 (vers. 14.3), it will open Firefox app (vers. 30) and Firefox will infinitely open up new tabs with an Apple maps URL (Apple maps is uninstalled). I have to minimise Firefox to stop it, and then spend a few minutes closing tabs.

Seems like a bug?

i was expecting firefox to 'Block hook up ads/ porn. Also, i wish firefox add-ons enabled on firefox ios as well. i understand the technical limitation.

could you please add these in your future releases? or child safe option?

hello i have installed firefox in my iMac. I need to import password saved in firefox lockwise to safari. if i try to use the command "Import from Firefox" (present in safari) the imac tell me to write my firefox master password but if I write the password the password is'nt acceped... I'm sure that the password is correct.... can somebody help me?

Just downloaded the iOS app for Firefox. The UI is just amazing but the one thing that gets me is that it will not load if my phone is not connected to Wi-Fi or a hotspot. If it is on 3G or LTE it will not load anything at all. Just wanted to know what is the go around for that.

I receive a secure connection error from Mozilla Firefox when going to an https site while on my MacBook that does not appear when I am using my Windows computer.

Received email from Firefox Friends... Announcing newly released Firefox for iOS in Australia. Email provided link to AppStore to download this App.

Download and install of App was successful.... It was version 1.0 (43) onto an iPad 2.

However, as per the email, the app was supposed to have a Device Section in Settings, accessible via cogwheel icon after click on the Tab. The Device Section was missing?

The App also missing the Use Compact Tabs switch.

As I was using firefox, I opened one web address in my favorites folder, and suddenly all websites opened up in different tabs. I closed firefox and when I reopened it it asked me to restart in safe mode. When I eventually opened up I wasn't signed in so I attempted to sign in using my email, it stated that was not found so I used my other email to no avail. I then asked firefox to email me my username using both emails. I did not receive any email. I am in limbo, all my add ons are not accessible because I can't sign in. I don't know what to do. I'm not worried about my password, I just can't get my user name straightened out. Please help. Thank you.

Hello, I'm trying to connect to the university Wifi network (in Europe is eduroam) and when I select import the pem certificate file I get an error saying that the import failed and that is probably due to a damaged certificate file. This can't be the case because I am using the same file in my laptop and used to use it in one android phone when I had one.

Any suggestion will be welcomed!! Thanks in advance, Jose.
