My husband and I have identical Thunderbird installations on identical Windows 7 machines, and for years we have been using 'QuoteAndComposeManager version 0.4.1. This allows us to set a 'pause' of 20 seconds between the time we click on Send and the email actually gets sent (it's amazing how many errors you can find in 20 seconds). This feature is still working fine on my machine, but on his it has been disabled with the message that it is incompatible with Thunderbird 60.3.0.
Two questions here: My update history shows that I am set for automatic updates, but the last one was to version 52.9.1 on 16 July 2018. This probably explains why I can still use the QandCManager, but why are we getting updates at different times?
More importantly, is there some other add-on that we can use to get this time-delay option? I have gone to the original developer's website but he does not seem to have a later version.

I enter: open -a Firefox --args -private-window "https://apple.com" (in Terminal or Automator) which I believe should open apple.com in a new private window, but although the focus change to the already open Firefox window, a new private window does not open. It does work (apple.com opens in a new private window) if Firefox is not already running, but I thought the -private-window argument is supposed to open a new private window whether Firefox is already running or not. What have I got wrong?

After sending, box which indicates sent does not close and program freezes. In some cases, message is found in sent, sometimes not.

The folders in Yahoo are there to save incoming mail and can be listed by names or businesses or events.

I am now frequently asked to enter my master password when I am in FF; they has never happened before. For example, when I go to Amazon, a window opens asking for the master pw. In some cases, this is not a big deal because I can cancel the request and my keychain will get me into the site. In other cases, my keychain does not work if I cancel the request for the MPW and I have to enter my access information. I asked Apple support about this, and they said to contact you.

Fiddling around, I discovered an option on right-click that allowed Me to turn on spellcheck. Now, every time I type in an email or forum, on Twitter, anywhere, I have to right-click to be sure of My spelling.
Thus began My efforts to find how to set the button to be on by default... Finding none led Me to "Help," which a search of the term "spellcheck default" led Me to a zero in returns. Sure, there were discussions with those terms, but I could not prowl them all looking for the method of setting spellcheck to be on by default. The first few pages yielded nothing...
So if You would please, direct Me to that function. [smile]
