It's pretty self explanatory. I have three different email address configured within Thunderbird and it does not recognize any of them as "Me". Within each account, they are displayed like anyone else's email.

Been using TB for over a decade and cannot for the life of me figure this out.

Any help is appreciated.

As of Wednesday afternoon my internal/system mic and speakers are no longer working with FireFox. Geek Squad says it's a problem with FireFox. I'm running Win11 on a Dell laptop that's about a year old. Firefox is up to date, and Windows should be as well.

I am trying to switch from Google to Firefox, but I still use my Google email. I uploaded my contacts from Google to Firefox, but I am trying to edit my own contact info in Gmail contacts, but when I click the edit button, nothing happens. Do I need to edit it in Firefox, and will that edit migrate back to Gmail? Why can't I edit it in my Gmail contacts (in the Gmail right-hand toolbar), and it will update my Firefox contacts automatically?

If you are going to require "A" file type, fucking say what type it has to be and provide a converter or screenshot tool! I Tried .Docx and PDF. Word does not save to PNG or JPEG so they are not an option.

AT THIS POINT, I AM STRONGLY RECONSIDERING SWITCHING FIREFOX!!!!!!

When I restarted my PC and opened Firefox only 1 tab Open previous windows and tabs. All the other 6 disappeared. I opened 3 additional tabs, closed Firefox, and reopened Firefox and only the one same tab was there from the previous session. Why does the feature not work properly?

Hi, As the title suggests, I am unable to delete emails from my work Microsoft account.

On attempting to delete an email, the following message is displayed:

"The current operation on "Inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account [email] responded: [TRYCREATE] The destination mailbox could not be found."

Checking the account settings, it seems Thunderbird cannot see the "Deleted Items" folder (it only shows Inbox and Drafts). I have attached images to show what I mean, comparing with a personal Microsoft/Outlook account where it sends deleted email to the correct place.

Using the latest Thunderbird version that is available on the Microsoft Store version on Windows 11. (115.9.0) I have tried removing and re-adding the account yet the problem persists. Any troubleshooting ideas welcome!

Video is stuttering with latest update. This just started today, Ma7 17, 2024. I went to a different browser to confirm that it is firefox. This confirmed the issue. I checked the settings and I have selected everything as indicated in the help files. I tried turning off enhanced tracking function and I selected allow video and audio auto play. It still happens

Firefox browser doesn't load youtube's content, showing only grey for videos and text. The browser console shows a number of errors (I've attached a screenshot of the console). Even playing a YouTube video linked from a web site plays only that video. All other content is greyed out. Safari loads YouTube without problem. iMac 2017 OS is up to date, as is Firefox. What do the errors mean, and is it a problem with my settings? Thank you for any help

I just purchased a Google Pixel 8a, and needed to install the reader for my Yahoo Mail account. When I searched for Thunderbird for Android, I found Edison Mail+. How does that fit, or is this something I don't want?

Is there - yet - a Thunderbird for Android? If not what do you recommend? I had been using K-9 mail on my Pixel 6a (which, I had understood, was the forerunner of Thunderbird for Android), but it just doesn't want to install on the 8a.

I read books using Amazon Kindle's cloud log in. After installing Firefox 126, I am no longer able to open books on my last page, I cannot turn pages or even open my notes. I tried using Kindle cloud on other browsers and everything works fine.

Any idea why my Kindle cloud functions are not working on Firefox?

This is a recent change, and in fact I don't *think* there's a "missing message" problem after reading and watching for a couple of days. I *think* something has changed and Thunderbird reports having "downloaded x messages" even if it *just downloaded them a moment ago*.

So it may download 5 messages, then a few seconds later you hit the Get Messages button, and there are no actual new messages but it still reports "5 messages downloaded" but nothing new is shown. As of last week, it would have reported "there are no new messages" when you hit that button soon after having received messages.

So I think:

• there is no serious messages-missing problem
• there is a disconcerting issue with a change in how Thunderbird reports status where a message arrival state is "sticky" and for some duration after getting new messages it will re-report the count of the last receipt when asked to download when there are no new messages.

I could be wrong about either of these, but there's a definite change in a behavior that I'd gotten very accustomed to. It is alarming to hit the button, see a message regarding some number of new messages, and receive none.

I'm guessing others, like me, spent some time panicking, searching forums, repairing the inbox... I think I'm as interested in confirming that there isn't a bigger problem as I am in getting back to the accustomed behavior.

Currently on 115.11.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11; first occurred at least one version prior.

Firefox updated last night while my headphones were plugged in. Now I cannot get website audio through the headphones in Firefox. None of the solutions from help forums have worked. Audio settings seem fine and headphones work on other browsers.

I was having issues with my laptop so I decided to do a System Restore to a previous date. Once completed, I opened Firefox and tried to restore previous sessions, but none were found. I also noticed that the shortcuts were blank, possibly uninstalled. I clicked on shortcuts and nothing opened. I downloaded Firefox again and reinstalled, but now I cannot restore my previous sessions. I tried to restore going to History>Manage History>Import and Backup>Restore>Choose File and selecting previous.jsonlz4 and recovery.jsonlz4 file with a date from last month, but again nothing happens. I searched around for answers, but only came across instructions to compress jsonlz4 file and decompress using mozlz4 without any instructions on how to use it.

What else can I do?

Running Firefox 126.0, which Firefox' About link says is current. Dell laptop running (current) Win10 Pro.

As recently as last Wednesday (15 May 24), everything was normal. Since yesterday (16 May), on the Wall Street Journal site, after I have logged in, I no longer have access to articles' comment threads. The Show Conversation button shows 0 comments (which is erroneous), and when I click the button, it changes to Hide Conversation (which is normal), but nothing else happens--just white space and no comments or comment text entry field.

On Fox News, the comment thread doesn't display, and there's not even displayed a link to a comment thread. Until yesterday, the thread normally displayed, but required login to comment. Since yesterday, logging in changes nothing: the comment thread still doesn't display at all.

On X (nee Twitter), when I click the login icon, I get the usual login box--but it's solid black with only a rotating arrow signifying "loading." It never finishes loading. An added fillip: X, as recently as last Wednesday, displayed in its usual black text on a white background. Now it displays as white text on a black background. I can click on X links sent to me and get that particular X post to display, but I cannot log in.

When I go to those sites in Edge, everything behaves normally: I have access to comment threads, and I can log in to X. One exception: X displays as white text on a black background on Edge, also. This doesn't seem to be an X thing, though; on my wife's laptop (Firefox 126.0), running WIn11Pro, her X display is the "normal" black text on white background.

I haven't changed any settings in Firefox. I do have a couple of ad blockers, and I've turned those off, one at a time and both together; that had no effect.

How can I get things back to normal in Firefox?

How can I get back to being able to search for an old calendar event of up to 2 years ago, now that a recent Thunderbird update removed that ability and replaced it with the 7 search periods option box to the left of the 'contain' search window?

The blinking screen is on ebay but it just keeps on blinking. I have tried other programs and it only happens with this one and only with ebay.
