TWO issues: 1. TB use to display emails in the INBOX immediately. Now I have to click another folder then go back to Inbox for the emails to be visible.

2. Emails with the red flame are junk emails. I think those use to automatically go to the Junk folder but now they're showing up in my Inbox and I have to manually send them to Junk folder. Am I wrong on this or has something changed?

There is a hacker who accessed my Google account via Firefox about 10 hours ago, with the result my language setting has been switched to Korean. I live in Hong Kong and have never been to Korea, and I do understand Korean at all. Can you help pls? Thx.

I have the Select Messages column switched on, with its handy checkbox for selecting multiple messages, usually for deletion or filing out of my inbox.

This works perfectly except that a collection of selected messages will instantly become unselected if the user clicks on a message instead of inside a checkbox.

In my head, if there's a checkbox it should be sticky -- in other words, the only way to deselect all selected messages would be to use the "deselect all" checkbox at the top of the column. In its current form, it's actually easier to NOT use the checkboxes and hold down the ctrl key instead, to select/deselect odd messages.

The existing behaviour seems so odd that I wonder if I've missed a configuration step somewhere. But if this IS the way it is, can I ask the devs if they might consider taking a look at this behaviour and finding a way to improve it for the more shaky-handed amongst us?

Hi, after a 2 week that I can't read mail from Thunderbird (115.11.1 64-bit), today I have found the old mail are blank in field From, Subject, but not in date. The body of email is the source of whole mail in plain txt (see image). What's happen? Is possible to retrieve email in correct format? (I have a backup, but I have some fear about new message discharged today) I use TB from 2005, and in the last 8 Year in portable version with decentralize storage and a copy synchronized of preference between Windows at work and Linux at home. Some one can help me?

Thunderbird is blocking some outgoing mail. If I start with a file, right click, send to mail recipient; the message is blocked as spam with this diagnostic: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Spam detected by content scanner. Message rejected (ID 6661B68A00783926). Please check the message and try again.

But, if I start with Thunderbird Write and attach the same file, there are no problems and the message is sent.

I belong to a group of 11 people, and one or another of us occasionally sends a group email around to everybody. Those emails usually call for responses to some question or issue involving all of us.

And here's my problem -- sometimes when I hit REPLY ALL, my reply goes out showing someone else in the group as the sender, not me. That can lead to confusion, of course, as the others in the group will think my reply came from that someone else. Anyway, I include a couple of screen shots. And I deleted from the images any info showing my address or anyone else's. I did leave the usernames, so that I can explain.

They are "Fletcher Lokey" / flokey and "Susan Dyment" / sdyment.

First one (1.jpg) shows what I see when I click REPLY ALL. You would expect my username and address to be showing at the top, but it's Susan Dyment's name and address. AND, at the far right end, you see "flokey", which should not be associated with Susan Dyment, I would think.

Second one (2.jpg) shows what I see when I click that small "down arrow" at the far right end of the box. My username and address are then seen at the top of the dropdown, circled in red. But the entry for Susan Dyment is the one selected at the start. When I select my info, things get straightened out. I also have a gmail account, which is showing as the third option in the dropdown. That's only there because it was part of the experiment I did so I could get the screenshots

So I have to be paying attention, so I can correct it if it happens.

I've hunted through my address book for any clue to why Susan's info is the one selected when REPLY ALL is called. In fact, I'm left wondering why anyone EXCEPT me would be in that dropdown box. And why in the world does Susan Dyment have "flokey" associated with it there?

I hope that's not too confusing. And any help appreciated

The battery in my laptop went flat while Thunderbird was open. When I re-started it and re-opened Thunderbird I had lost my Newsgroup Subscriptions. I can understand some issues but loosing all subscriptions?

Why do I only get this on firefox?? If I use any other browner I don't get it?? I sign into google and set filter to nope but this get the 'error'

Hi, I seem to be having trouble syncing. I have an account which has 25 years' worth of emails on it, organised into folders. I reorganised the folders, and now on thunderbird they appear empty even though webmail shows them to contain emails.

I have tried going offline and downloading messages, changing my password, restarting, and clearing the startup cache.

How do I fix this, please?

Hi! I am experiencing feedback when I am on a desktop browser version of Discord. This doesn't happen on Chrome and I'm not sure if there is some setting that I need to adjust on Firefox? I have the same settings in my Discord as I do on Chrome.

Recently I have been having an issue where all new incoming message to my primary email account will also end up in the inbox of my secondary email account. So basically, when I open Thunderbird and say 45 new messages appear in the inbox of my primary account (myname1@provider.com) those same 45 messages will also end up in the inbox of my secondary account(myname2@provider.com), even thought the messages were only addressed to the primary account. I checked to see if this was an issue with my internet provider, but when I check messages on their webmail, it only ends up in the correct account. Thanks for your help.

Google stopped DRM support for 32bit Linux. What is the alternative?

My computer Is still good for playing videos for lower resolutions and I am using it this way.. but some videos are not launched because of lack of DRM support. I dont want to throw it into the garbage yet. I hope there is some alternative to Google, for example from Adobe?

The screenshot is missing in settings: I typed about:certificate and it is showing the DigiNotar Root CA - Server. I clicked on it,and it say "Explicitly Distrust DigiNotar Root CA.

The color on top of the Desktop is a blue gray color not black like it shows on the instructions steps when there is a picture showing the menu with instructions. I am getting a message when I open Firefox saying that "Open or Refresh Firefox" It has caused me a problem when clicking on it

Recently became unable to update Spybot and Malwarebytes. Ran Windows Defender which didn't find anything but when I run ClamWinPortable, it produced and moved the file to quarantine. This makes Firefox unusable. Reinstalled Firefox via another browser and the same thing happens. Do you have any suggestions please?

Hi my old account email doesnt exist anymore, I cannot log into that account so i cant login to Firefox because its sending a confirmation code to my old email but i cannot login to this email account anymore so i cant get the code to login to firefox. Is there anyway I can still change the email adress from my account? Thank you!

When selecting a file to upload, firefox freezes, when windows file explore pops up to select a file. Looked through a the help articles, but many are older and do not relect on my perticular issue, or they are to technical for me. Need to register a product and must upload a photo and order cop...go figure???
