When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. I'm grateful for any replies, and would like to thank you for your time.

How do I export bookmarks either on my iphone or my iPad? All the instructions seem to be for desktop. There is no ‘manage bookmarks’ at the bottom of the bookmark menu. Desktop is not an option.

I don't understand where some bookmarks are when using iOS.

For new bookmarks, I see a row of "Recently Saved" pages on the home page. But I can't find a "Recently Saved" folder in the bookmarks menu.

When I sync with MacOS I see the new bookmarks in a new folder "Mobile Bookmarks". But I can't find a "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on iOS.

Finally, on iOS, I don't see how to access the bookmarks I added to the Bookmarks Menu in MacOS.

When I use 'Manage Bookmarks' and the Library to delete bookmarks and bookmark folders in addition to cleaning up duplicate bookmarks, the deleted folders and bookmarks automatically reappear in my Bookmark sidebar 1-2 hours later.

Initially, I had sync on but did not have Bookmarks checked for syncing. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared. Then I turned off sync for this browser / machine. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared.

I tried to see if there was a setting that enabled automatic restores of bookmark backups - but could not find one to turn off. I have tried refreshing the installation and starting again - using a one-time sync from another machine - but continue to be unable to permanently delete old / obsolete / duplicate bookmarks and folders.

I've also tried 2 Bookmark clean-up extensions. While I am able to delete duplicates and empty folders using these tools, 1-2 hours later they are back in the Bookmark sidebar.

Is there anyway to prevent the automatic restoration of the Bookmark Library?

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

For some reason, Mozilla is showing me different folders in the "new bookmark" dialog than it is when I go into my actual bookmarks. I added a new subfolder through the "new bookmark" dialog, but it isn't showing up when I open my bookmarks menu. I then tried adding a subfolder in the bookmarks menu to see if it worked the other way around, but that folder isn't showing up in the "new bookmark" dialog either. Ideas? Suggestions? I'm a relatively new Firefox user, and this is really frustrating me!

I have syned my account to santhuusanthosh51@gmail.com like bookmarks passwords Etc., Today i have formatted laptop and reinstalled laptop and logged in with same same account it shows no data in it like history Bookmarks and password.

Hi, thank you for being there. I have a strange problem that started a while ago. Every time I restart the computer to refresh it, all my bookmarks and log-ins change. It seems as if they are set back to an old version, but I can't even remember ever having a setting like this. A lot of bookmarks folder are gone all together and others only have a few bookmarks left in them. I suddenly have to enter passwords to get into my email accounts. Even stranger, after a while it all goes back to my current setting without me changing anything. This can take days or weeks. All this makes me nervous about restarting my computer. Please understand that I am not a computer wiz, so if you send me complicated instructions on how to fix this, I probably won't understand them. I hope there is a simple explanation for this. I use the firefox browser on two computers and the sync of the bookmarks is enabled. On one of this computers dont work the sync of the bookmarks. I get no errormessage if I press "now sync", but I dont get the bookmarks. Could you help?

As of today 5/20/2024 Firefox stopped saving bookmarks. The star turns blue to indicate the bookmark was saved, but when I check the folder in Bookmarks it's not there.

Firefox is my GoTo browser. I appreciate that it is open source and respects privacy and security.

Right now I am struggling with release 126.0 on a Lenovo tablet running Android 13. My issue is the use and access to bookmarks. Unlike previous versions of Firefox there seems to be no way to get a bookmarks toolbar. That was a helpful feature in previous versions. And favorites are not as clean. My hope is that Mozilla will return to a bookmark toolbar.

I am travelling. I used a public wi-fi and norton VPN most recently. All my bookmarks are missing, altho they did appear on the toolbar briefly in the background. So where do I find them to restore them to the toolbar?
