Hello. I searched a solution for some time now, how to remove any typing of a search in google for instance, to be displayed in url bar. I read some articles with words I don't understand, like userchromecss or whatever : I do not work in computer science or anything about it. I would like some well defined user friendly options or just don't mix two different things that will alter our experience using your product. Could you just correct the search procedure so url is url, and query is query? I would love this to be corrected. Search queries on the page, and internet addresses in url bar. Thank you.

When I do a command-F and get a "Search Messages" window, I get a list of things to search on. The left-hand side list starts with "Subject" and continues on to "From", "Body" and "Date". Way down near the bottom of the list, the atom "From, To, Cc or Bcc" appears. That is the option that I want 99% of the time. I do not want just "From" since that lets me miss messages in a thread.

If I select "From, To, Cc or Bcc", why is TB not smart enough to re-order these options so that the option I always pick is at the top? Barring that, is there any way that I can re-order these options manually? If so, how? If not, why not?

Lately, when I do searches for emails, I get a listing of the emails I'm looking for, but when I click on the email, sometimes I get the message "no message found", even though it shows up on the search and I can find it manually with the date. Any ideas of how to fix this easily?

I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

I'd like my search results to include messages where the search item is in the Sender or Subject but it appears to find only words in the body. Is there a way to include this? btw, the window pane on the left shows a filter but I don't know how it got there or how to delete it. Is this relevant? Is there documentation on how to use the search feature to specify folders, binary searches, etc? Thanks

I've been doing this for (literally) decades.

If I initiate a search in all local folders, for example all messages to, from, cc or bcc a particular e-mail address, the results (as of about a week ago) now ONLY return messages found in Inbox or Trash. Also, after returning those results, the search indictor continues to 'spin' as if it's not done but still searching. None of the messages in my Sent folder appear in the results.

If I change my search to specifically look in the Sent folder, I get all the remaining messages I'm looking for. But it isn't helpful to have to perform two separate searches to get these two separate result sets.

I've tried quite a few things. Any ideas?

With a browser tab open to any website, I’m no longer able to use a saved shortcut upon tapping into the web address bar.

Tapping the address bar brings up the keyboard and screen as normal, except with a faded background. As soon as you try selecting a saved item it sends you back to the existing open web page.

On Android recently the search window requires pressing the space-bar TWICE to get a single-space, or pressing GO-button 2x to execute a search. That doesn't happen when searching from the address bar or w/ any other search engine except DuckDuckGo. 😡 I tried Smart Clean, clear cache & reinstall. Now I've lost all bookmarks, open tabs & history. 😤🤬

I have my default search engine set to brave but every time I go to search for something it flicks back to google without my consent. There are no pop up boxes or steps asking me to approve this switch. It just does it on its own.

Before the current Version of Firefox for iOS one could insert a search item in the address field of the browser and tap Enter and the search quiry was being directly sent to the default search engine and indemediately the search result appeared. But now after hitting Enter the webpage of the search engine appears, i.e. Startpage, and I have to hit Enter again before getting the search results. Is this a bug or an annoying feature?
